KEY MONASTERY II History of Chicham Bridge (KIBBER VILLAGE) II Spiti Valley #3

Key monastery is the largest, oldest monastery which holds a powerful sway over the most populous part of the valley around Kaza- Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855. It is about 15 to 20 km north of Kaza and 210 km from Manali by road.
