No offense, but you mispronounced Monsieur and „entre“ you said „entrer“ or „entré“ but it is an „e“ without accent and Babbel did not correct you? That does not speak for the app.
Beautiful home. She described it perfectly; traditional, but in a modern way. Love the fact that is moderately sized compared to some other homes we’ve seen.

As soon as I saw the exterior of this home, I knew I would love the tour. The home was a delight and Lisa’s commentary was very enjoyable. I love the transoms, the colors, the layout, the stair balusters, the wallpaper and on and on. This is one of my fave Homeworthy tours. Thank you for sharing!

The tin is a Princess Mary tin, not Queen Mary tin (as the note inside indicates). Princess Mary was the only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary. It was Princess Mary's idea to give British troops a gift, the first Christmas of WW I (1914).

I recently watched a Mary Berry “Country House Secrets” episode/Harwood House Tour and this Mary Princess Royal “Mary Box” was featured so you are indeed correct! I almost commented but you did it for me😉
Thanks for the great explanations on your tour. I loved how you explained the reason for high a gloss ceiling for instance. I have a dark dining room and could use that technique. Really good point that our design decisions are not forever, so we can try things and have fun.
Your color scheme is so restful ! An oasis for the eye & mind. I never tire of cozy traditional & surrounding one’s self with much loved collected memories.

The plaster fireplace mantel is absolutely amazing! The wall sconces above the fireplace I've always known as "gimbal" lamps. It's the gimbals that allow the lamp to stay upright as the boat moves.

The built-in bookshelf placements are perfect.
Pastel interiors are not my personal choice, but it is a pretty home, well-designed, very feminine. I like that we can see she has kids and the playroom looks like a playroom, not like another formal room like in some other interiors. The hostess is fabulous, she made me chuckle a few times. My boys would like that cat wallpaper.

Monkeygrabora, I agree with your comment in a general context, but are you implying that it applies to her books and bookshelves? Her bookshelves are not empty or void of books, and books are not stacked on every tabletop.
