What a headache house
My mom is exactly like this. Didn't grow up rich, and when my parents did get money they designed their home with a ton of fugly patterns and populated every possible walking space with furniture.
Your personality is a cross between Katie Perry and Kate Spade....which is funny, because they're both Kates! Love your home.
Lovely home! But way too much furniture for me, I'm also a Texan and would be claustrophobic!
Somehow all these funky patterns and colors work.favorite was the pool area space.

This is a huge home, but she’s managed space well. The quality is great. Perhaps too many stacks of books. Those hanging lamps where the recessed lights would be are interesting.
She’s done a great job ensuring that the home looks like an older build. It certainly does. This cost a fortune. The quality and attention to detail is wonderful. I love the forier, the tile and steel windows are classic.

The tour is pompous and she is sharing with us. The host is proud of her spoiled desires. She called her mansion, her house. Did her’s husband has no opinion about it. I imagine how inferior her husband must feel in that home?( based on her statement). Most of the times designers are collectors a when you have a building that you can house and play furnitures, and things you like or want to put in someone else’s home, is a dreamed that comes true. This is the story of this designer and all others that have the budgets to have. And why not showcase it!
