- This is a repost of a video I published a few weeks ago. In that video, the audio feed was problematic and many people said that there was no sound for them when watching the video. So, I fixed the audio issue and wanted to share the experience again so that everyone has a chance to check out the museum video with sound.
Today I check out the museum at the Lost Dutchman Mining Association (LDMA) , Stanton, Arizona camp. I was there to attend a Garrett Metal Detecting event and decided to go rogue and explore the LDMA camp and check out all of the interesting mining relics that have been collected from the nearby mines over the years.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my TH-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

I fixed the audio in this video and wanted to repost it so that everyone has a chance to see the museum with commentary. I hope you enjoy! Thanks... Chigg
Oooh! I thought you lost your marbles. I was like, we saw this!
@@domenicas.2645 I was thinking that he must have stayed out in the sun a little too long.
Yeah I thought it was just me having some kind of precognition .. 😂😂
That explains why it's so familiar 😂
I always look forward to your videos sound or no sound. Excellent work keep up the pukka videos. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🥃
...that little two part red rubber thing, you pulled apart, is a snake bite kit; I had one like that when I was a teen in the Boy Scouts; still have it. Also, I saw hanging on the wall, a canteen that looks like a Boy Scout Canteen I had in the Scouts; still have it, still use it; I'm eighty now... 🤠
I had the same canteen in the GirlScouts! I do not still have mine, but wish I did!
I have many fond memories of Stanton and "Buzzard" who headed the LDMA back then. Buzzard got me hooked on gold prospecting and enjoyed the many outing adventures with him and the group. RIP "Buzzard".
Thanks for the tour Chigg, like you I also love the desert and all it's treasures 💥👍🏜
Thanks. Very interesting.
The original post was awesome and provided knowledge of course, 😁
The revised version is even better 💞
Thanks for all your hard work chigg, your passion shines through 👍
So cool. Thanks!
Great video Chig! You are a ledgand my brother!!!
Was able to enjoy it the first time. Don't mind a 2nd time.
Thanks, Beau. I've spend a lot of time in the SW but there is no way I can see it all. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Chigg the red thing you took apart is an old snake bite kit,it has a razor blade a string for a turnakit ,and the rubber pieces on the out side you would squeeze and place on the fang holes and let go and it would create a suction...
Chig! that red rubber pack is a Snake Bite Kit
Another good one Chigg🇺🇲👍
WOW thank you. I just learned a Lot. Very Cool.
.50: "Lots of Murders out here" Welcome to the Desert it Truly is The Wild West...still! I live in Southern NM and don't even want to imagine how many people are buried out in the Desert! ;)
That tube thing that you slid apart looks like a snake bite kit that I saw in the 60s.
Yup, I've got one just like it.
Thanks for the fix!
Thank you! I appreciate that.
You might want to start looking at the sides of things you pick up. Most scorpions I saw in the day time are hanging out on the sides of things near the bottom waiting on something to walk past. Not underneath or on top, right on the sides near the ground waiting in ambush, right where most people put their fingers.
At 2:50 that's a Union Carbide can, carbide lanterns were used in mines, on cars & bicycles back in the day
Chigg is second to none on the tube
Thanks! Don't mind supporting reruns (I watch many) and would never tell you what I'm actually willing to pay!
I appreciate that Tom. Thanks again.
Nice yo see you enjoying the day!!!
My father was a miner on the Nevada / California line in the early 1950s. It was a hard life to say the least.
Epic
Funny Seeing That Pay Phone. May Not Have Cell Service . It's All Cool. 😎👍✌.
I was in a Fred Myer gas station in Grants Pass Oregon and in the corner is a pay phone.
I've bn Blessed to be born and raised AZ. God Bless and] v"😊
I have a book I got of eBay bout this place very good read
That bucket looked like it was a slusher but I could be wrong
I'm a gpaa member and have thought about becoming a LDMA member but they don't have a bunch of sites here in oregon
i enjoyed the video
11:08 is a snake bite kit.
The wood handled item with metal hooks is a Swead Hook...two men wood latch onto a log and be able to move it...
That can with all the bullet holes was a black powder can
I never even got a notification. Strange.....
They use those Monitors to regrade Seattle. Washed the hills into sluce's then down to town
Hey Chigg

Ya did. He re-did it
Looks like my Uncle's backyard!

I got my dads army canteen it’s dated 1944 he was in Korean War or police action they called it
My dad had a hat similar to that one he also had some RR spikes.
But i couldn't get nothing of my dads when he passed away because a psychotic psycho of a X my mom had, anything that my mom did take was later sold by the X.
