I pre-ordered the red version, and I'm glad I did after watching your review. I don't mind the weirdness, or having to heat up the joints to swap hands, etc.. I really like being able to go extreme with posing (the stiffness of the Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series figs gets tiring after a while.)
Does anyone know why big bad toy store unlisted all marvel yamaguchi products? I had the v2 red Deadpool on pre order and when I click on the listing through my order it says page not found.

I preordered the normal (red) version but after this review I was pretty nervous about the bad quality. All I gotta say is that I LOVE IT. The joints are solid, the painting is absolutely amazing, and the design itself has made this my “THE” Deadpool. If you’re a Deadpool fan you owe it to yourself to get the red version.
Love my Revoltech War Machine but posing him is always a project. As much as I like him, I may replace him with the Sentinel version when that comes in. Although, I am not sure if Sentinel will have as many accessories as the Revo.
I've always known that a single hinge joint can get as much range of motion as a double hinge... but damn those knees are incredible! I want the figure just to study how they did it!
I love the articulation on the amazing Yamaguchi's, and with the improved engineering on the recent releases, I was tempted to pick this up. However, the ill-fitting accessories makes it a pass for me. I'll wait for the Mafex X-Force version. Those sais tho......

Mine just shipped from BBTS so I’ll judge it when I get it in hand. I do know the this line is unique and is an acquired taste. I like the Cable but it falls apart like a Jenga puzzle lol.

I *just now* picked up the 1.0 version of this and I think for pure purpose of having both i might pick this up. Looks very nice, but uh those guns look... not good
We may gripe about the engineering but those poses at the end of the video looked great. My Carnage can be a pain but the poses are far superior to other lines.
When putting the katana in the trigger finger hand, you can tuck the guard under his trigger finger and it holds snug, and looks fitting to the character
I like the figure well enough but some of the issues you mentioned is a turn off at this price point. I'm willing to accept flaws in a figure, but as the price increases, so do my expectations. With these figures coming in at $80 or more, there shouldn't be paint app issues and the accessories should work as intended. Yamaguchi does a pretty good job on quality usually, even if their figures are fiddly (and intentionally so), but this one is a mixed bag. A step forward in some areas. A step backward in others.
This review just reminded me I haven’t got a Hasbro Deadpool in a while….What’s up with that Hasbro?! Are you paying some sort of figure penance fit making that talking Deadpool head? Come on you included hot claws Wolverine in the Bonebreaker wave…we need more Deadpool! At least one a year…
I only have the original Deadpool figure, but the fact that there’s less revoltech joints just makes me concerned that there’s less articulation, which makes this (and probably a lot of the other newer ones) a pass.

@@Leo-ev3sm also Japan's post office is not delivering to some countries so you should also check that out or ask the store you bought it from. At least in my country, Japan has suspended all mail service since July 2021 and things are being shipped only by private courier, which is more expensive than what you previously paid for.... So yeah, I recommend you to investigate what's the state of your country and Japan Post
I hope they do a 2.0 version of the red deadpool, because, honestly, I like the OG deadpool more than the x-force version. But the new x-force figure is a lot better than the red one.
My biggest gripe would be that the other main import companies have matched the extreme posing possibilities of Revoltech, while maintaining an aesthetic that is miles ahead of Revoltech. Also interesting that this comes with guns. That’s gotta prove that the company has at least a little say in the guns-vs-no-guns issue.
While I love Deadpool, those constantly reused yellow text clouds in every fucking marketing item related to Merc with a Mouth, are so cringyyyyyyy... They forgot After I whack you, I'm gonna get some sushi.
Revoltech has to be the shittiest toy company ever for my taste. The headsculpt makes the figure and they have hands down the worst head sculpt and paint I’ve ever seen. I agree revoltech have come very far but Who gives a shit if his shins can flex when the paint and sculpt for it is bad not niche…. After finishing the video it has really cool accessories and actually cuts a pretty good profile and the poses as expected are amazing.
Yamaguchi said on his Twitter that the blasters are from Rob liefeld's design.

For what I see, I personally don't think red version V2 is gonna be worth buying again. I just don't see it as a very big upgrade.

This figure was supposed to come out in November 2021, but it was delayed two times and it finally came out just last Saturday

There is a 2.0 red version. Both had the same release date. You can get both of them from Japanese stores. Not sure about US or EU realese.
They have both the Red and x-force 2.0 already out.

I mean, the upcoming Bonebreaker BAF includes a machine gun, Jigsaw includes a sawed off double barrel shotgun, perhaps this is just a DC comics thing
They really haven't matched AY's articulation at all and I 'd challenge you to mention any specifcally that reach that standard.
