Yes, I think it's possible. There's a lip right below the cushions, on both sides, that you could put a platform on to support the cushions for the bed. If I remember correctly from when I shot this video, the table was too long to use for that purpose, so it might be a small DIY job. Hope this helps!
I’m guessing as long as you are plugged into solar and keeping that battery charged and be able to do all of that. It really wouldn’t be a battery trickle. So whatever you can run off of battery you would be running off of while the solar is charging the battery and keeping it charged.
No, the solar is only for charging the battery which puts out DC only. The three prong outlets are AC and you would have to be plugged in to shore power (AC power at a campground or your home) to use them. The camper would have DC outs (like a cars cigarette lighter) which could be used for powering/charging small items like laptops, cell phones etc. The DC from the campers battery would not power AC appliances like a small electric heater, hot plate or AC powered TV. Your camper microwave would not work either unless it is a DC powered one which I doubt it is. Your 3 way refrigerator (works on AC, DC or propane) and propane furnace would work as long as your camper battery retained sufficient charge.
Can you tell us what new features are possibly coming in this LXE model for 2023? I’d really like the option to have a large Lithium battery & 3,000 watt inverter along with roof solar panels. I do want one of the LXE’s with the 2 dormers. Maybe an option for a propane tankless hot water heater too.

You should be totally fine to tow this BUT, that's only if you have the tow package. The stock Chevy Traverse can only haul 1500 pounds, but with the tow package that goes up to 5000 (source: bit.ly/3weGntb ) If you have the standard model, the Aliner will be too much weight, too fast, for your vehicle once you start loading it with the camping essentials. With the tow package, it'll be eating Aliners for breakfast (in a good way!) 😃

I would advise against. Technically, it should be able to tow it - assuming the trailer was empty of anything you'd be bringing to go camping. However, all that added weight looks like it could easily exceed your vehicle's tow rating. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

If you want to stick with a hybrid the new 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid coming out tows 2000 lb as well as the hybrid Hyundai Santa Fe. More money a Highlander hybrid SUV and Sienna hybrid minivan tow 3500 lb. At 2000 lb rating you’d barely be able to tow this trailer and would have to pack extra light under 200 lb of gear and water (water is heavy).
So I already have 2 Jackery 100W solar panels. Would I be able to connect those with the same cord connector that I use to charge my Jackery? Also would a 2014 town and country touring L be able to tow this?
Sorry for the delay, we have been SUPER busy!!! There are many connectors that can make that happen. And yes, your vehicle can tow this. We would recommend a brake controller install to help the braking of the trailer and NOT force the van to do it all. Also, a sway control so that it helps in cross winds and such so you can tow safely.

No way in heck I’m putting a sh*tter in my Aliner…lol. It’s just too small for the shower/toilet option. I like that layout better though…in place of the shower/toilet I would want a corner desk with a few drawers underneath…and a toaster oven rather than the microwave. Otherwise I love the Aliner setup in general. Seems like the dormer’s would almost be a must have option too.
When buying an RV, the worst decision is a pop up camper or the famous "hybrid". In a couple of years it is no longer worth anything and nobody wants to buy it.
We sell a good bit of used hybrids and pop up's, so that's simply not true. As to the second point, any new RV is going to lose value when you drive it off the lot. You may have a preference against them, but they're a great option for people just trying to get out and camp on a budget.
The table folds up and fits between the two seats, and the three small cushions fit on top of it to extend the bed even further.
