Thinking about taking the trip down this summer here. What do you recommend on bike choice? I have a 170mm/160mm travel enduro and a 150mm/130mm trail/all mountain bike. Just curious your thoughts on that.
I’m riding a Nomad which is a 170 but you can ride the shed on short travel. It’s mainly preference and allows me to hit some larger or more technical trails.
That was nice, the Catotin trail is no joke, that drop out of Lawnmower is way bigger than it looks.
Really wanna get out there to ride some time, only thing really stopping me is my own skill and finding the time to go out there! Awesome video man!
MANNNNNNNNNNN your riding is exciting to watch .... you def know these trails very well !!
Thanks
Catovid is soooo good. Heading down there next month and can't wait to get a run on it! :)
Enjoy!

How wide are your bars?
Some tight spots, will be going for the first time here soon only 20min from me
I’m riding 775 wide bars.
@@CallumCussen that settles it I’ve heard that’s the sweet spot, taking the dive and cutting the new carbon bars
How big is that drop
Unsure. It has different landings so you can choose.
Where is Catovid?
@@TheNewnan3 starts at 3:44
@@CallumCussen How much travel does your bike have? I ran this trail yesterday and my 130mm full sus was getting abused lol
@@TheNewnan3 I have a 170mm travel bike. I know a lot of people tend to ride 150mm at the shed.
@@CallumCussenyeah i was thinking a 150mm would be the minimum there. Considering a Bronson 🤙🏽
I see hand guards... uh oh.. did someone smash a fingy
I nearly lost a finger lol
