I was the younger guy who was doing the paperwork while you were running this load, I saw your TH-cam on the truck so I had been checking in to see if you posted this yet. I showed it to the forklift driver and you absolutely made his week! We think it’s awesome that you do TH-cam and hope you run a load for us again!

Jimmy, have question, I don’t understand the California bridge law, because you have a flatbed where you your tandem axles are more than 40 feet from the kingpin. Can you please explain it to the audience. Thanks kevin

      trailer is exempt because it's a 48'
All 48' trailers are exempt from KPRA laws (King pin to rear axle)

It's a mathematical formula to determine how much weight the road surface can handle and what axle spacing the truck needs to minimize road damage. If you plug the numbers in for a 53 spread, the damage to the road is too great according to the formula. So they make you group the axles closer together to spread the weight out more evenly. The bridge formula doesn't refer to bridges you drive on It refers to the truck/trailer "bridging" the weight between axle groups. That why California has a close axle law and a fixed 48 spread or a 53 Cali fix spread.

I really love watching your videos but I wish you did all this work with gloves on.

Thanks. Why do I need to use gloves 🧤. I work better and faster with out them. If it raining or cold I do wear gloves
