I record using ShadowPlay, integrated into the Nvidia App. For color grading in DaVinci Resolve Studio (should be the same for other software), I set the color space and gamma to Rec. 2100 ST2084, which is the HDR format ShadowPlay uses and one of two methods of encoding HDR data that TH-cam supports. For the rest of the settings, I follow TH-cam's recommended upload settings, so it is displayed correctly when the HDR finishes processing on TH-cam. Otherwise, the video can end up looking different than what you rendered. My recordings are not actually native 2160p; they're upscaled from 1080p with Super Scale 2x Enhanced using my editing software, with some additional settings to make sure it's output at the highest quality.
@@CrimsonAlpine yes i have HDR on with both my monitors and on windows it is supported but the image is nothing like yours your image looks much more crisp ?

What do you use to record for the 4k HDR to show I can only get mine to show in 4K but not 4K HDR
