    KJ Noh made a few mistake about US never wanted peace with North Korea and that is not true. It is true that US divided the Korean Peninsula after the WWII; this decision was made in the bad faith and Korean received it. One of the big reasons for the poor decision on Korean Penninsula probably was because of Soviet. After the Korea War, North Korea walked out of the peace treaty with the USA because it said that North Korea was to accept the division of Korean Penninsula. Since North Korea said no, so then to this day USA is still responsible for its division and it has been the big problem for USA.

    I can't support or dispute much of what this guy said except when it comes to US deterrence against China. His narrative on that is profoundly wrong given the CCPs continuous plurality of border disputes. The US really did try to be peaceful with China and got massively entangled with it in terms of international trade. China, under Xi Jinping, has become an aggressive, coercive and abusive power that is a severe threat to all of it's neighbors. Look what China is doing to Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines. This guy paints it as if America is arbitrarily entangling South Korea in its aggression against China when China are the ones involved in over 20 ongoing border disputes. I can fully believe that the US is a bad ally to Korea (God knows it is to the UK and anywhere south of its border) but I have difficulty believing this guy is portraying much other than an ideological position that he happens to share

    • @kijinoh589
      @kijinoh589 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +7

      China has more land borders than any other country in the world except for Russia. So it's not surprising that it would have a "plurality of border disputes". Most of these disputes are a legacy of invasive and unclear claims created by Western colonial powers. But still, the record shows that China has resolved most of these disputes peacefully and amicably--often ceding territory--with most its neighbors: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Laos, Mongolia, North Korea, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia. The only ones that are remaining are the ones where the US has been weaponizing the dispute to escalate tensions against China--most notably India. As for the US "trying to be peaceful with China", again the facts refute the claim. The US been planning a doctrine war against China since 2009-2010.

      @@kijinoh589 Right, so that explains China launching missiles off the coasts of Japan and Taiwan, taking over Hong Kong in violation of the treaty they signed with Britain, taking over Macau, committing genocide against the Uyghurs, invading the sea around Vietnam (famously a US ally ofc) and the Philippines, trying to buy up ports and infrastructure across Europe and Australia and debt-trapping developing countries across the world. All of that is perfectly innocent on the part of the Chinese Communist party and anything bad that did happen is Americas fault? I suppose it's also Americas fault that China has the most grossly authoritarian social system in human history, that they conduct forced organ harvesting on people imprisoned for political crimes and that Mao Zedong destroyed Chinese culture during the cultural revolution. The Chinese Communists are innocent, everything is Americas fault and koolaid is delicious. Grow up
