I'm kinda digging the flow of this game. I see some of a sort melee vibe to it. I could see myself watching some sets, especially if there are some competing
Every game he plays, he incorporates tech one at a time and slowly, figuring out the one new thing that works until he's mastered it. It's frustrating to watch when he ignores basic tech, but there is something to learn from it.
Zetter can't walljump after up-B in Rivals 2. In fact, only Kragg *and Orcane can. (Also, the commentator is wrong - you can only walljump once in Rivals 2 until you touch ground. They were probably thinking of Multiversus, where you _can_ walljump an infinite amount of times before touching ground.)
@@Magibatproductions Yes, that's correct. I moreso meant to address the idea that Mango had opportunities to help his recovery with walljumps (which he could, but he was mostly not in those situations), but that is correct
You can absolutely punish Maypul’s tether, you just hit her lol. Obviously though that doesn’t work if you’re in hitstun, but tether has huge start up and shows you which side she’s tethering to
The game is really cool but something about the camera zoom matched with the parallax effect of the background kinda makes me a little sick while watching.
The 3D changes are underatandable but a downgrade for me. The pixel art of yhe first was extremely crisp and very easy to follow without a shit ton of panning and zooming.
I've gotten more used to it but I agree. It feels like the slightest character movements move the camera too much, so it almost feels like it's always jiggling a little
@@ThePanionator yall should’ve seen the camera at the first rivals 2 tournament, heatwave I think. The camera was absolutely horrible back then, they’ve honestly fixed it a lot I’m even if it’s not perfect still
Maybe the zoom is too close when close to each other? I'm feeling a little motion sickness with how "wobbly" or "unstable" the camera is + the parallax in the background. I don't feel like I'm describing it right. Maybe I'm just wrong 😅
@@gatztopherthat’s actually a really good note. I pretty much only watch the foreground so I was confused but now that I’m paying attention, the background is maybe one of the only things exposing this game as an indie
@sincereduck9405 sad but understandable. I wish people would give the devs of a game a chance instead of expecting perfection upon launch. Id like to be included as a part of the process. Idc if it disconnects every ither match fir a while and all i got is 4 characters in training mode lol i just want something ya know.

Lots of top melee players already really enjoy the movement of the game
There was a pretty heat Rivals 2 bracket at Supernova that I recommend if you wanna see more
Amsa is like:
“Look at me! I am the Fox player now.”
I love hearing the commentators learning about the game as it is playing out.
Someone tell mango he can wall jump 😢

@@Gamma0_0 it's still useful for zetter in situations where you're close enough to stage, especially since you can wall jump off of down b.
@@Gamma0_0 He can down b flip and then walljump and then get back to stage without using up b. It's a bit harder to stop than just up b

god i cant wait for this game to come out
Mang0 was cooking a bit but amsa was cheffin it up !!
8:07 The battle of Redbull vs White Claw
I love to see a maypul succeed and I love to see amsa play. this is a win for the rivals community
It took a decade but we finally got to see aMSa go in on a top tier

agreed
@@iamawin8272 same here, especially if wrastor's slipstream is on the screen. too much movement

Damn aMSa got me wanting to play Maypul now
Dont sleep on the aMSa
Man... I just want to play the game more:(
i realize they sort of already used yoshi for ranno, but i yearn for a character with yoshi movement.
My goat amsa 😤
Mango getting trim? Looking svelt!
When this mfn game gone drop??
this year but they don't got a release date yet
TOMORROW
Who is that dude who is clearly zonked man lmao. Commentators are going like "OOoooh" every time he says something its too funny
5:49 this shit is killing me none of this is true 😭
Yo mango that mustache aint it bro lmao 😂
No way man, that's a peak stache
amsa the goat
Just a tip please use the new renders because I almost didn’t click because I thought it was rivals 1
The game looks cool but something about the graphics and physics engine makes it a lot less watchable than melee

The FoV and zoom is too high.
I've pushed the suggestions of "flattening" out the camera, but it gets ignored (by the rest of the community)
I hope it wont be long until the ps5 release 🥹
the devs want pc to be as stable as possible before they start working on other consoles so it's gonna be a while
