This really gives a new appreciation of the album version
I think this is the register which Matt is more confortable with right now and imo where he sounds the best. His voice has change but he tries so hard to sing high in the last trivium's albums. For me he sounds really strained and I wish they had more vocals like this one.

I don't think he's speeding up that much but this song has got layered vocals so he has to rush at times to be able to sing all the lines. This performance would be even better if there was a second vocalist.

What makes this video enjoyable is not only this is a kick ass song, but also the excellent video and audio quality. In the other hand tho, I must say that considering the good singer Matt is, this is not one his best performances, it seems a little bit rushed and almost a little bit uncomfortable in some parts. I liked it anyway :). I´d love to hear a full band acoustic version of this, or at least played with 2 guitars and backing vocals as well.
Yeah...it was rushed a little. the second part of the song had a faster tempo.
