8X Multi Samling Anti Aliasing is overkill even at 1080p. When playing at a Native 4K, Aliasing is not easily noticed (unless of course you compare screen shots) so I would go for 2X MSAA if I had an RTX 4090. This way you get higher FPS and it has been proven that: the higher the FPS the lower the input lag.

Interesting comment! The CPU used is one of the best, so I did not take this into consideration. A year from now we will have new CPUs so we might see higher FPS. Finally, as much as RAM is concerned, I do have the impression that RAM is not so much of a limiting factor (as long as it is not old eg DDR4).

I don't mean memory obsolescence, but finer tuning. 5600cl36 MHz is very low for ddr5, on hunix adie you can achieve 7800cl34 easily, and maybe even better. And come on why do you need even more fps if it's already 500+. Do you have a 1000 hertz monitor? I doubt

That game was just perfect. I loved to play zombie mod, surf, etc.

Interesting, very calm and relaxing. These players have almost that soulless bot vibe. When I play cs there are only one-shot jumping crackheads and at the end of a 1,5 minute round I have a heart attack.
I'm not sure what is so revolutionary about CS2? It still feels and plays like the game I first played in grade school (20 years ago). Back then it was version 1.5. The weapons are still the same (mostly) , they haven't allowed new stuff. Pretty much the main difference is the Graphics and animations. The entire game feels like it has not progressed much since 1.6
Basically is every version of CS is just a remake of the game released in 2000. I remember Mihn Le one of the original creators of CS quit valve basically because the community would get mad if they made major changes to CS
MSAA is kinda pointless on higher resolutions in general. So you are getting diminishing returns. You are already have enough pixels to fill in so you either need none or very low MSAA or whatever like FXAA. Although impressive on the frames but there really is no difference when it comes to 4k. Especially on smaller monitors with 4k.

My 7800x3d and 4070ti never drop below 400FPS on CS2 at 1080p, on all max settings. It's usually 500+. What monitor are you using?
Is it best to cap fps to the same hz as the monitor?

What monitor are you using? I play my 4080/7600x on a LG C1 48' OLED @ 4K and on any game, I mostly get over 100fps. Love the 4080
Dude the lg's are killer for gaming, just got the c2 and I'm probably never going back to a monitor, unless they eventually offer similar colors
i guess the 7600x is the problem. Intel in cs go is the way to go. 13900k best processor probably for csgo

@@amikunkka8311 yeah I wouldn't suggest getting it with a 4080/4090 unless you are using it for 4K. But it does beat the 12900K and the 5900x. You will see a small difference between a 7600x/7900x for 4K. But the 7900x will be better for 1080p because of the bottleneck you'll see with the 7600x and the 4080/4090

Let's be honest most of us all play csgo at lowest graphics setting and 4:3 low resolution to boost fps and also make the player models more visible .
You should have tested how rtx 4090 performs at such low settings

It's CS2, not CSGO, fundamentally different lighting/graphics and physics system, new engine. But why would anyone buy a 4090 for it when there's a billion better games that make use of the horsepower to enjoy? CS is just a bonus.
