Dylan's performances are so much better live now he's also genuinely into it, seeming happy to be there. This really had me tearing up, thanks fellas, for sticking around.
I was at this concert and holy shit when those first notes started I, along with everyone else, was so god damn ready. Today is the anniversary of my little brother dying and to see this pop up this morning and to relive and hear these words, fuck boys, you got me crying for all the right reasons. My friends and I also met him some Months ago in Cologne.. he was casually walking around the city half an hour before the concert.. and my friends wouldn't believe me that it was him. Then, we waited infront of the place where the concert would take place, and right exactly in front of us a taxi holds and Dylan steps out with 2 Girls. Kind of the best beginning for their concert.
For some reason seamus never goes as hard as he did in that original version in the park. The solo in that was really special, these versions are always a bit reserved/safe.
There’s something about cyclone that makes time stop around me. This will always be my favorite song and possibly my favorite live version. Thank you Sticky for this treasure❤️

Because I, and I think all people who know u, don't want u to die caused by overdosing something. Because your talent, your voice and your style is unique in an indescribable and beautiful way. (I don't really think that you'll read this but "hope of deliverance")
For anyone struggling with addictions, I encourage you consider sitting with Mother Ayahuasca or Iboga. This song really crosses generations and cultures...I love the Irish folk sound of the lead guitar, it puts all the emotion of the verses and feel of the song into notes...and Dylan's voice is pitch perfect and spot-on, it doesn't sound like he's singing it as 'just another crowd favourite', he's managed to imbue the original intent of the song despite the fact he's had to sing it over and over...the only thing missing is his high notes of 'ooh-hoo' during the lead guitar solo, but it must be difficult to evoke that completely un-self-conscious (I know its not a real word!) feeling where you can just ad-lib vocal sentiment-without lyrics even needed- in front of a crowd on command... Love these guys, thank you so much for representing everything Australia and totally getting me hooked on your sounds Stifi!

I love it that these guys are so very talented that they look like they were literally born to do what they do the best, with each having their own different styles of guitar playing. Shemus is always very soft and tender on the frate where Dylan is known for his heavy strokes with the rhythm which also backs up Shemus's tenderness on the notes whenever they play an acoustic gig.
