I picked up a Vestax portable when I was in college, in like 2007 or so. I pretty much immediately modded it with some LEDs and a platter power switch and had thought about trying to add a transform button but couldn't figure out how to make grounding work so it wouldn't make a pop sound (didn't know about multi-pole switches back then). I've been out of turntablism for a while but getting back into it, getting my TTX decks fixed up, picked up a PDX-3000 MK2, looking into replacing my crossfader with one of the newer ones (maybe an Innofader). I'm absolutely LOVING learning that turntablism is still going and that the main interest online seems to be in portable, modded, semi-DIY gear! So cool. Keep the love for scratch alive!
This video was packed with new items. I'm still waiting on the Xone96 video, brother! A lot of people posting on Instagram, I can't wait for mine get shipped to me.
itimmy101 Having already done a first look, I’m taking as long as I can to do the actual review. Although it will still be soon, as Allen & Heath need it back quick, they don’t have enough to go around yet!
That pcb tone arm is really fuckin cool! I have some drones that use the chassis as pcb and I just think it's frigging ingenious! Another great video mojaxx thank you!
Hey I'm really interested in DJing, although a new mixer came by pioneer recently, it's called the pioneer ddj sx3, it would be nice if you review this mixer.
For me 12" TT work much better. I don't like the super sensible/sketchy feeling and sound quality from this things +++ I learn it on 12" and still like to mix/scratch my 12" vinyl ... But hey, cute little portable decks for the park or if you travel a lot... Thats only my opinion and i (only) use a vestax handytrax sometimes and not a Jesse Dean tuned numark (maybe they better!?!?)
MO'Jaxx,....the reason u didnt get the Jist on the Woody Grind Strip is cuz u had it onna PDX 2000....the 3000 and 2300ProMK2,the Platter is lower,..Hence allowing u to use ur finger tips or Nails to Truly see it Genius,.....jus Trying to Help Bluhd'...again,.....just something i Too myself learned,......Hope this helps u,.....Respect'

If someone made clear or opaque vinyl scratch records, the ufo mod would be cool as.
Perfect timing Mojaxx! See you on saturday ;-)
