Finally got my parts from you guys great service really fast the tone arms awesome I added my ortofon cartridges very great tracking now at first had a little worries at first cuz I wasn't getting sound but silly me didn't know the fader was cut to the right looking forward to the stuff start buttons haha! 👍😎🎵🖤
Just another question I adjusted the weight in the back of the tone arm everything seems okay but I also tighten the bolts a little bit on the back left and right allen wrench bolts because they were a little bit loose. at first it was too tight and the tone arm was hoovering to a floating drop so I unloosened it a little bit it seems to take the weight off the tone arm helping with the back weight is that going to cause any tracking performance problems that I adjusted tightened a little bit the bolts in the back? 👍
@biharidesigns How do you know the stylus/cartridge is in the correct position? And how do you know what weight the tracking force is supposed to be in? Also what is that scale youre using to weigh it? Sorry for all the questions im still new to the turntable world.
Hi. I installed tonearm and preamp. Now the line in volume is really low. Gain knob for line in doesn’t seem to work… any idea on what I could be wrong?
I am having problems with the tracking. Needle wont move forward on the record. Just keeps looping the same 2 seconds. I can't seem to find a fix for this problem.
Looking on the Bihari website there was a mod to the tonearm in June of 2020, the website reads "2020.06 / Axial bearing added to package Axial bearing means smoother skating, less skipping." Does your tonearm have a bearing on the bottom as pictured on the website? I'm thinking about getting this tonearm and am interested in the trackability.
I'm sure I followed the steps double checked everything. I am getting no power when I opened it back up very strong smell of burning.. not sure where to go from here

What is the tracking error like when playing 12" records? I would be interested in this for the improvement in sound quality when playing 12" records

Do I need the preamp for the numark headshell cartridges like the cc1
You need preamp for magnetic cartridges like shure m447, ortofon om, concorde, VNL, etc...
Where do I mount the preamp if I'm using your start/stop kit? The relay board sticks up a bit higher than the stock start/stop board.
