- Luciana Vega is the 2018 American Girl doll Girl of the Year! Our family is so excited for this doll, because she is interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and she loves SPACE! She's inspired by NASA and goes to Space Camp in Huntsville! Her storyline is especially timely for us, because we just moved to Huntsville this past summer, and we're planning on the girls going to Space Camp themselves for the first time this upcoming summer!! How awesome!!
Then on the way home, we stop by SPACE CAMP to take some pics with Luciana there! (Disclaimer, the girls didn't get out for the pics because it was TOO COLD! We're going back later in the week to get some pics with them in the pic too after it warms up a bit!)

I live close to the Space and Rocket Center, I am going tomorrow actually. You can see Saturn 5 from my house!!
We cant wait to get some of her things. Since my daughter is obsessed with space too. We arent getting the doll though as she looks alot like grace. Which we have, but we of course had to get Lea because she was from St. Louis and so are we. St louis has a Planetarium which is all about stars and space.
She is very similar to Grace, I think that is the main reason why Natalie probably won't end up with her own, is they are almost the same doll. We love her collection pieces though!
I love the videos of the AG doll stuff. I still have my Samantha doll and also have Kit. I’m an adult but I go to the store or buy something at least once a year.
American girl have come up with an extra amazing collection this year this would be nice made bigger for my twinn the meet dress can be knitted delightful

I love Luciana. Have you had any problems with the Luci dolls having flyaways, messy bangs and/or thin hair? If so please tell me I’m just going to see if it’s a problem not just I have. If it’s a problem any tips?

I'm not sure if you have family in MI or if you ever come through Indiana but if you do, you have to stop by the Indy Children's Museum! There is a space exhibit and it's amazing! Isabella would love it.
Yes, It looks pretty cool!! Definitely on the list of places to visit! We're planning on going back to MI to visit my best friend, but will probably fly back.
