    Excellent review. I was checking Seaguar fluorocarbon fishing lines to maybe replace my monofilament lines on my finesse spinning reels. I have found that I catch a lot more trout with a straight 2 lb monofilament fishing line with .16mm diameter, especially with heavily pressured and finicky trout in the California Sierras. I get stressed with a fish on using a 2lb line. The diameter of Red Label Seaguar 6lb at .185mm is thinner than a 4lb SOS Trout Fluorocarbon line that's .19mm. I now have to decide whether to get the Red Label Seaguar 6lb fluoro line or the Seaguar Invisx 4lb line.

      i have reviews on the other Seaguar lines. Invizx is even stronger, if u can afford it. Watch my invizx video.

    Just bought my first spool of Red Label 10 Lb. for Largemouth and Walleye on Lake Erie. Anxious to try it out. Thanks so much for your extremely informative video. I had no idea that once mono is stretched during a snag, it is compromised. The main reason I bought it was it is virtually invisible underwater. Thanks again. Best Regards.

    Thinner one is newer. I am kind of suspecting that the old one is probably stronger.

    Idk I use Berkeley vanish it works fine for me and it’s like 20 times cheaper it’s not quite as strong as segar but it’s more abrasion resistant in my opinion that’s more important it casts fine as well

    You can easily make fluorocarbon have great knot strength if you spit on the knots don't wrench it down too fast. I make it a point to take longer and go slow and work the knot until it snaps into place. You can tell when it's an strong as it will be

      sound reasonable but i dont spit : )

    Turn on the close captions. At 00:42 seconds, instead of finesse it says penis lol.

      i had bad experience with P-line 5 years ago, and never again bought their lines. I know Scot Martin is using and promoting them.. they probably have some good products now

    Hey Victor! Are you still primarily using this brand of line?

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i still have it on my reels but don't use those reels for crappie any more, only white bass. I started using much thinner line for crappie. I do use this for leader though, when i use leader. It is a good line. I got the invizx now just because it comes in 4 lb strength. But this one never ever left me surprised. Very reliable

      i really don't know.. But i still use this line for my dropshots... : ) I like how stiff it is and doesn't tangle

      ELSTAN PEREZ at 14 lb stretching is no longer a problem. I think expensive lines are waste of money if u need anything over 0.30. But if u get into really thin line, getting cheap line is dangerous. In my opinion, of course.

    Looks like 6 lb is the lowest, do you know how much difference compared to 4 lb line in terms of casting little jig like 1/32 oz

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In terms of casting there is a big difference. Especially if there is wind or current. Thats the only reason i use even thinner line.

    I have came to the conclusion after using red label on my reels that it is probably the worst flouro I have had the displeasure of using. It was total garbage.....and I mean GARBAGE. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS CRAP FOR ANYTHING. YOU WILL REGRET IT. THE WORST.

    • @Mg0936
      @Mg0936 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They only thing I can say is it has bad memory and knots up pretty bad. If you pull out a backlash and let your line lay in a pile on the ground, when you reel it back in it WILL have a huge knot in it.
