Im an 02 e430 4matic. Same motor. But 4.3l that little air filter gave me some chuckles. Also noticed the catch can. Does that help? Im sitting at just over 47k miles currently. Wondering if thats worth doing? Great vid btw. ❤
Yes catch can help! I explain in the video how it work and the benefits
Hey man do you know how to check the engine oil level on a 2006 c230? I’ve been trying but can’t find the dipstick and can’t find it on the computer either
Hmm do a quick google search. I would think that year should have a dip stick
So do you emptied all water before the coolant or you add coolant and mixed with water?
Drained , and then added the coolant
Whats the red Thing on Your mass air flow in the back?
Air filter
Something stupid. The regular air box works the best on Benz. He losing power from hot air
😱 Temporary for now.
@@tovanev727 I think the best thing for cones is two keep the two plastic feed tubes (from the grill back) and then install two cone filters directly behind the feed pipes, ive done the same and I've gained 5mpg extra, supreme fuel and always let it warm up before driving. This guy looks after his Benz on a daily so I don't think hot air feed is going to disrupt much, however you are correct, best thing to do is keep two cones, install right infront of the intake lips attached to the stock grill, seamless cold in with some good sounds. I got a clk 320 2006 softop and that's my current setup
Personally, I think it is a waste of time and money to be this meticulous if your old coolant didn't look that bad to begin with.
I didn’t want to wait till I had bad/dirty coolant to have coated in the system. It weaken the heater core, radiator, thermostat & water pump. Honestly it’s good practice to save the headache and money of your cooling parts failing because of waiting till the coolant was bad. 30k miles is recommended to flush the system. Same with oil changes we don’t keep going till it’s bad. You have to change it if the oil still looks good.
