Yes but you have to understand the man has the right politics as far as the people who kept on employing him are concerned. Our teles are now infested with talentless left wing c - -ts. Prime example who is the BBC s highest earner Gary Lineker( another leftist prick that lives as far away from diversity as possible) who when you take the matches away on match of the day he is actually only in front of the camera for about a quarter of a hour once a week

I met Ollie numerous times when he visited my nightclub in Guernsey, he once muscled up to me and accused me of eying up Josephine his partner, "You'll be banned if you start this crap" I said, whereby he gave me a slobbering kiss.
My doorman beat him at arm wrestling too and Ollie took out a full page advert in the Guernsey press to announce the fact.
A bull of a man but so charismatic when not totally deranged through drink.

My pal once told me a story that years ago he had pals doing some specialist joinery work for Oliver Reed at his house and they came down from the North East and the work was about 2 or 3 weeks worth i think he said. So the first day about lunchtime his butler said Mr Reed would like you to join him for a drink, so they politely refused and were told if they wanted to stay employed this wasnt an option. This continued for weeks and they didnt get the job finished until about 3 month later cos they were always ill off the drink. Now i always thought this story might not be true until about a year ago he introduced me to one of the 3 lads who actually did the work, who confirmed it and said by the time they got home all their birds had left them but it was the best 3 month of his life. 🤣🤣🤣

@@GreenMorningDragonProductions i remember Gary and that super blonde Barnet of his 😂 I didn’t know the Richard andJudy bloke lived in that area nor ‘jumpers for goalposts’ Steve Coogan or Tony Wilson for that matter (although he was to know that bit of Manchester well when he got sick with cancer as Christies hospital is there) I don’t doubt you bumping into any of the stars of that era. Mancunians are like that, if stars are not approachable then you’re stuck up your own arse and we’re not havin you 😂 - I saw Pete Barnes of Man City fame getting fish n chips after a street footy knock about in the late 70s and Julie Goodyear from Coronation St in kinky lounge lizard wear in the city centre just off Oldham Road in 1983. Perhaps the most famous star spotting was Rudolf Nureyev, I saw the famous ballet dancer loitering about a bus stop in Piccadilly Gardens in summer 1982 as I caught my last bus home. He was appearing in a show at the Palace Theatre at the time. It didn’t make sense to my naive teenage head at the time what he was doing there, and how few others actually noticed him. Only years later when it came out he was gay and died from AIDS did the pieces come together. It’s almost unbelievable what I’ve seen and other famous people I know personally and been to school with, I was only born and raised in a poor and unremarkable area of Manchester. Perhaps that’s exactly whats needed to motivate some to get out and about and make something of themselves 😂

If there is one actor who for me was one of the greatest, it was Oliver. Not because we share the same name - no, the man was just different, iconic, in a different class. Unfortunately booze got the better of him - RIP laddie!!
