I just started 3D printing a few months ago with my first printer, an X1C. Just having the 3D printer has helped me come up with a bunch of ideas. I've been mainly prototyping these product ideas. What you do is very inspirational, thanks for sharing.

How do you manage the printjobs? Do you have a dedicated software?

I’m starting a print farm using Bambu lab printers. X1C and P1S. In your experience, what’s your 3 top part failures. Thanks for the great content.

How do you load filament with the shelving layout?

You run all those SV06s for a print farm?! How do you profit with how slow they print? They do produce good quality prints for the price, I have to say that. You just gotta tinker with them and they are slow

I have the same one that is sold as "Whalen Industrial Rack" at Costco. I got mine on sale around Xmas / New Years for $199 for one of the 77” x 24” x 72” setups.

    How's the leveling with these?
Also what's the biggest those printers can do? Right now I have a Ender 3 extender 400xl and a ender 5 plus.
    Been thinking about going resin.

If you're going with Prusa over Bamboo Labs at current pricing, the only farm you need to be worried about is the funny farm...

I did not like my Bambo p1p and x1 carbon the sovols yes after some upgrades, my prusa's still the best mk4, mk3s and the xl's are the way to go for a print farm bein doing this for 10 years now as a print farm and had rep rap made printers in the late 90's which were something else to get running and keep running.

Not disagreeing, just looking for more info. Why do you like the Mk4, Mk3S, and XL better than the Bambus for print farm use? I've got one Prusa Mk3S+ and one Bambu X1C. So will need to decide which brand to add more of as I grow. So far I prefer the Bambu X1C for speed but the Prusa is sort of sentimental to me and I do love it. Can you give some more info and explanation? I'd appreciate it.

@@boostsv okay when the bambu goes down get it back up is a nightmare and to get help from bambu is like pulling teeth and takes a long time so when a part break down you have to get it from bambu and they are not very easy to repair but prusa has great support and is open source so upgrading and getting parts are very easy but if your stuck prusa online help is right away to get you back up and running but i have found that over time the prusa's prints are great and the bambu's are not as good great for the first while but over time degrades

    • @boostsv

@@grampafpv8013 I have seen it mentioned elsewhere that the Bambu seems to break in and surface quality can degrade. But I wonder how often people re-run the self-calibration, etc. Plus the advanced calibration options with OrcaSlicer, etc. Wonder how much of it can be tuned back out of the machine as it wears in.

@@boostsv every time i got a failed print and it does not matter they are what they are great at first and then nothing but problems later on

@@boostsv I hope you have better luck with them as time goes on, but i still think prusa is the way to go, also prusa customer service is top notch Bambu they don't really have one and they should for what they cost.
