With a production portfolio of more than 1500 different brake pads, production automation is not an easy process. Simple vision sensor technology can't see the often small but significant differences between brake pad applications.
Thanks to our pilot project partners in MADE, Teknologisk Institut and Danrobotics - we have made automated production and bin-picking flows possible, in our brake pad production plant in Svendborg, by merging 2D and 3D vision sensoring. Thus, enabling a higher uniformity in product quality, in full compliance with the our ECE R90 certification.
