I own a TRX also. - standard blue, 1999 but with StainTune exhaust. With a programmable ignition it runs line a dream! I like the colour you've done yours in How the hell do you keep the steering clamp so shiny?? 🏍🏍😎😎
@@alanwilliams3677 - As recommended to me by users of the TRX850 Forum (sadly, no longer operational) I installed an Ignitech ignition and new carb kits. The ignition helped a lot with the 'snatchiness' but I can't eliminate that entirely when in first gear. A decent dyno tune and it runs like a dream. I have also had the rear shock (standard) rebuilt and other maintenance, but nothing non-standard apart from indicator relay to allow LEDs. I'm too old now for really stretching its legs but when I did it was beautiful! 😀🏍
@@martybartfast Thanks. Strange that Yamaha released a bike that requires over 200 Euros spending on it to make it run right. They have a reputation for being "agricultural." The ones I've ridden certainly are.
good exhaust sound‼👍

Did you have any issues with the standard set-up?
