Appreciate you KJV teachers/preachers. KJV is so under attack, your information research is so helpful to me it lifts me up to hear actually; thank you!
I love the way the holy Spirit w.kaes the truth so plain to understand through his preachers who don't doubt his Power to put his word perfectly into the English language.
The NKJ is NOT a King James Bible. When it came on the scene I was told that it was exactly the same as the King James Bible, except in modern English, but that's a lie 😡. I used to own a King James Bible, a NKJ, an Amplified, and an NIV, then about 7 years ago the Spirit of truth showed me the error of the so called modern versions. It was like a light turned on in a dark room, and I threw all the modern versions in the trash, and I will yield no ground of what the Spirit of truth has given me. The so called modern versions are NOT Holy Scripture. They are counterfeit bibles.
Near the 28:00 minute part of the video, Haifley mentions the patronizing "brother" Mark Ward. (Mark Ward is a fan boy of critical text translations and regularly criticizes KJV.) Near the 20:00 minute section of the video, Haifley mentions the editor of MEV calling Haifley saying they were fixing a number of the problems with the MEV that Haifley previously pointed out.
When we try to update the King James Bible, it is saying that God did not get it right the first time so we as humans know better.when in actual fact we know nothing.
Oh, I would love to see a few words updated.... perfect in 1611.... but vocabulary does change. BUT.... the issue is the number of words to change does not justify us not being able to do congregational readings. I am stuck looking up words from time to time.
@@chriscravens8318Then you have the Bishop's, Great, Tavern, etc. The differences between the Great or Geneva Bible is the same as the 1611 to modern versions is simply wrong.
The only change I think the KJV should have is individual changes to archaic words without changing the rest of the sentence in anyway. Example: Change "wot" to "know."
I am kjv only. It's the pure and precious word of God in the English language. So Dan reads from Joshua 22, then prays and asks that the audience hears God's word rather than his own. Then Dan immediately begins walking around and "paraphrasing"! Why not just read the story from the bible?
I recently asked the satanist Mark Ward if he was so concerned about "false friends" within the Elizabethan English language - why doesn't he write his (rudimentary, subjective, critical) explanations in the side margins of the KJV 1611. And why doesn't he condemn the obvious blasphemies of the Message "bible". No reply is apparently forthcoming...
Matthew 7:6 King James Version 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
He logically can't condemn any "bible" other than a paraphrase or state issue with certain verses like he does with the NRSVue. To do so would very quickly become a "which translation most accurately translated the Critical Text" at which point he just offended 2/3 of the people out there.
Anyone possessing genuine salvation will know the 'True' WORD from God Not, 'of' God, Due to the Fact, that the Word holds the only power to (( Overcome Sin )), by the Only Source that can reveal it's understanding; The Holy Spirit. Without real, live Truth, deception is the substitution.

@@WaimakBibleChapel it just seems like the time it takes to review all the changes between KJV versions is overwhelming. I like what I have seen of the 2016 and er, but I just have not taken the time to go over all of it.... and the 1611 has 400 years of review.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints only uses the KJV. And I do not see that ever changing. We can consult other translations if a verse is not clear if we want (just like we can refer to the Greek or Hebrew.) But we see the KJV as the best translation. And only refer to it in church service.
For those who grew up with the KJV, understanding it's vernacular is easy. For many who did not, it's almost like a foreign language. They need it translated from Shakespearean to English. Updating the KJV to the NKJV is no more heretical than translating from the original Greek in 1611. The KJV beeth not ufefull to he who hath not underftanding of fech olde Englifh.
No actually your wrong here, NKJV is not just modern english the changes are much more than that. A recent discovery for me was Revelation 1:9 look at both NKJV and KJV, the adding of one word changes the entire meaning on tribulation doesn't it!/? And that is not the only change in the NKJV. I enjoy the KJV personally it is not a mystery to me.
@@Obediah002 I'm glad that you enjoy the KJV translation. In my opinion, it is still one of the best. The problem with the KJV is not with the translation itself, but with the fact that many of its words have fallen into disuse or have entirely changed their meaning during the centuries since it was written. The archaic language can sometimes lead to misinterpretations of what some scriptures actually mean. The NKJV is not without flaws, but for some it is a more useful version.

Same thing happened to me in 1998. The Lord got a hold of me and showed me the truth about bibles.

The "first time" was 1611. You dont have that in your hands. What happened?
@@chriscravens8318Then you have the Bishop's, Great, Tavern, etc. The differences between the Great or Geneva Bible is the same as the 1611 to modern versions is simply wrong.
The first time? That’s hilarious right there!
Yet, more important, where are the conservative scholars to undertake the task?
Two year Greek students will not suffice.
Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? Jeremiah 23:29
Do you use the update of 1769 or the original 1611 edition?
1769... Most KJVO do not even understand they are reading out of an update.
Define your term "update."
Can you please explain was “updated”? Thank you.

Here's why he never replied:

Proverbs 26:5
King James Version
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
