How long have you being doing this? They don't let you be a stay at home mom with Amway either. So there's really no win with Amway. My husband & I joined Amway and they told us it was all family-friendly but then they also kept telling us to get a sitter. Yeah, they sell that this business is a legacy that will be passed down to your children. However the don’t mention that your children aren’t going to receive the check unless they are at least at the platinum status!
Red flags we’re going off when I went to my first meeting at 8 o’clock in the evening and everybody was walking around in business suits and a private home.
lol you think with spending time in WWG you’d be better at communicating 😂😂, I spent 3 years in and I’m good at communicating now and started traditional businesses now and gained hella success from learning how to talk or converse. Idk I learned a lot on how to talk to people and people skills that translated to my traditional biz, and it’s boomin 😂. But I understand the deception your trying to explain, but hell ,I will tell you I learned so much and now my real businesses are booming, it gave me the courage to quit my job and start both my companies to be honest (AgAiNsT uPlinE AdViCe) lol my upline was pissed I quit my job and started a traditional biz, that’s why I left WWG. Btw it didn’t teach me grammar but who cares about that unless you’re an English major.(that’s for the reply’s)
Omg 2 months in and renting a room from my upline . Getting money back and possibly loosing a friend I thought was my true friend .got swooped up . Getting out now
They take advantage of the vulnerable. I was severely depressed after we left. My friend/coworker is the one who roped us in and I believed in her. They ended up switching jobs after I quit and we haven’t spoken since.
I was at this outing with a local photography group. She was there as someone who also signed up for it as well. She approached me just like you said - first connecting with what we had in common-photography. Then just started talking to me about their mentors and how they have helped them out so much.
It’s life changing for people who personal grow and do what’s taught. It’s working great for my wife and I cause we are doing what is taught which is so little even my 10 year old can do it. This lady did t want to do the work. My wife retired 2 years ago and I’m very close to walking away from my job. To be a free mommy and daddy. This lady just didn’t do the work and didn’t want to personal grow.
I truly hope you are “doing the work” honestly and ethically, meaning you are always open with people about what exactly the business is. The whole ‘you can’t say Amway, gotta suck them in before they have time to google” thing is smarmy at best. A disgusting, vile, and completely dishonest way of growing a business. I don’t love MLMs to start with, but I do have a lot of respect for people who straight up tell you what business they are in. People who intentionally withhold that information when looking for prospects are complete and utter scumbags and should be ashamed.
@@thomassheaphotography3092 These IBO's do NOTHING but try and reach out and see if they can add value to you. But they don't see it that way and it's sad. Love you guys! FIRED UP!
I was approached and after surviving 3 hrs of zoom calls (because of the pandemic we didn't meet for coffee), I finally discovered the company name (world-wide dream builders) and instantly found your videos! More people should be aware of these "genuine" people
i was recently apart of this and noticed my mind started to change and become all about amway I thought my mind was expanding and I was becoming free. Meanwhile I didn't realize it was becoming my life. Everything I talked about, thought about, read about and listened to. It was scary now to think I was growing but my mindset was shrinking to thinking ONE WAY! AND to only depend and lean on the words of my upline and mentors (blindly) Now that Im out it's a mental battle to think I was deceived like this. Another thing that showed me it was a cult was that they always praised what OTHER people had instead of THEIR PERSONAL successes. It also didn't make sense that the way to make money was to bring people in instead of selling good product and letting the people follow because of the amazing products. I'm praying for my friend is heavily hypnotized by amways mentorships and influence. I'm praying because he is using his daughter as apart of his "why" and I'm afraid he's going to have a rude awakening but I hope he realizes what a CULT AMWAY IS!
Good job , I just started it and I’m going to stay I it until the last 2 months of my one year time of being with Amway . Cause right now everything is free till the end of my year period.
i remember i was in a virtual meeting bc it was during covid, one of the diamond couples or whatever you call them had a green screen of being on a yacht....the waves werent moving.... thats when i left
I was Mawa'd by a second cousin, I knew immediately it was a pyramid scheme, but I wanted to know what exactly she was involved in. Everything you said happened, like to a T. I made it into meeting 2 and this is where they mentioned WWDB and Amway, I explained I have no interest in selling products but would love to hire their "mentors" as life coaches and would pay. They didn't like this and the mood went from rainbows-butterflies to fire-hate real fast. Told me I waisted their time... sorry you could have said YES to me in the pitch if I had to sell products or recruit people. She tried real hard to explain the products they buy to sell, and they hated how blunt I was... I don't even shop at target, I have a very curated shopping list for personal items that have taken me years to build and I have a spreadsheet on my annual budgets. Sorry, not going to change my personal products so I can be "mentored" by some random people who sound made up. Also, it's 2020 we all know what Amway is. These people need to be stopped before they ruin more lives.
I got approached at a department store while I was super distracted. This woman approached me by saying “wow, you’re so athletic… you must be a coach or athlete?” Mind you, I was in workout clothes lol! She seemed very nice. She continued to compliment me and ask what I do for a living. Conversation definitely took a turn. Too many personal questions. Something didn’t seem right. Don’t fall for it. Kinda creepy!
Awesome! I left the biz 10 years ago. It was so fake and deceitful. I flew across the country going to functions to listen to the same stories that I heard on CDS. We were instructed to not mix with other people at the functions. I remember paying $50 a month for this antiquated voice messaging system. Keep up the videos!
Keep up with the content it’s great and informative!!! I totally get the desperation mindset you describe! At the tile I would purposely avoid the places I went to daily because I seen how quick you turn into the Amway guy around town!!! I would drive to populated areas I didn’t ever go too so I can go all out without dealing with seeing people. But when you have to be that way to build a business, that alone should’ve been a venti sized red flag
Oh man. Thank you sooo much. I had my first board plan meeting tomorrow morning and I was so into the Kool aid. I'm now cancelling and sharing this video with my buddy that's been doing it for 2 months. This is the best video on this subject. thanks again
Hey this is such a great video! Pretty much spot on what I have been searching for. I have been approached in this exact way about 5 times in the past 18months. I got so annoyed with it that I decided to start calling them out when it happened. I got approached in Target 6 months ago, she complimented my coat and proceeded to ask me tons of questions. After about 15 minutes of chatting I knew what was going on so I said to her “do you really like my coat or are you just trying to get me in your MLM”. She was very offended. What should I do in the future to call someone out on this? I don’t want to be mean but I don’t want my time to get wasted by these “fake” conversations.
It does work. It does make sense. It is work. A third quit. A third hang around. A third actually put in the time. You do need to maawa over a hundred people per month to take several through the process. That’s hard for me to do. Honoring your partnership once you give your word to your sponsor is key to your own success. But I’m putting in some effort. Growing personally. It’s all how you choose to live your life. Do what few have done and you will succeed. Some will sponsor others, some won’t. It’s business, it’s not going to be easy. Where else can you earn as much money?
Exactly, it's a business and it takes time for it to grow. People are so accustomed to having things fast that they believe starting any business is a scam lol
Omg this is so bad for wwdb. I remember having to send my coach daily mawas and she would help me fine-tune it. Each organization (diamondship or emeraldship) had their own twist on it
I had an old friend from college recently hit me up after 7+ years try to get my girlfriend and I into this business model. I know that he and his wife aren't full of BS with our relationship because they have only been members of this business venture for a few months and this particular friend has been trying to contact me for much longer than how long they have been building their 2-5 year plan or whatever. My girlfriend and I recently decided to discontinue the "education opportunity" after learning that it was Amway and are trying to continue what could be a genuine friendship based on love and support, without making us tell them that we think their life pursuit is stupid and not worth their time. Any advice?
WWDB is filled with lots of great people/mentors who have in fact built a great life through the company. I am grateful for the mentorship and leadership training I received from two years being in the business. However, this isn’t for everyone like they do say and the issue I have is that you DO NOT retire when one builds the business. Yes, you can quit your job BUT you still have to work in terms of mentoring others. This is a mentorship business and one should only go for it if their calling in life is the mentorship of others, which is a LOT of work. Yes, rewarding however if it is not your calling and if you are not happy with the work then the life you create from it will not be satisfying. I had to quit due to health issues and looking back, the statement of “its not about what you do, it’s about the life you create from what you do” is NOT for everyone and everything. Mentorship is not my calling so if I had millions but had to constantly mentor others without the satisfaction of doing so that would be pointless. How they look down on people that say it’s not for them I find is the biggest issue.
Our hook was a business opportunity....always ...second income, ideas. And this was not wedn. I was in britt world wide, and Yeager.and over the years a bunch of other groups. Cause I went looking for a group that was different...so I'm happy to share how it was and is in other groups
I was in this cult for about 3.5 years from about 19-23 yrs old, I'm 30 now and I remember it being called "dialogue" or "dropping the message" lol did they change the name of even their prospecting? That's hilarious lol
You're video was not informational at all. You pretty much just explained to everyone how something new made you so uncomfortable. I looked up Amway and it's 8.4billion dollar company. I don't think Amway was the problem. Sometimes it's not the machine that doesn't operate, it's the operator. Not sure "if that makes any sense" to you. I feel bad for your husband, he doesn't sound like a quitter but the saying goes "you become who you hang with".
Please don't stop educating the public about theis scammer organization. They truly prey off the vulnerable. It's disgusting. More people like you need to come forward and preach, preach, preach, until they are shut down.
My mentors have done nothing but pour love and value into my life. It's extremely hard work to achieve those results, temporarily cast aside going out with friends and family, overcome bad habits, being more intentional with your time, becoming a productive member of society. Constantly being of service to people, especially those that want to get ahead. Nothing great will come out of condemning others. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. And hope you get success in whatever you pursue. We are changing the face of America! Can't stop winners...FIRED UP!!!
Yet you haven't been thought up to this day how to invest in stocks, bonds, shares or even real estate. Why Robert didn't stay in MLM? He's making millions on books, seminars etc. That's an example of a pipeline. He's more sensible than the rest of us.
Well I am thankful and praising God that my son realized that it was costing him too much money and taken up too much time. He realized how negative the people are. He invested a lot of money that he had just received and now he is trying to get his money back. Any advice?
Congratulations! I’m so proud of your son. He should call Amway customer service to get a refund on any product/inventory he has remaining and the starter kit. Make sure he cancels and deletes ALL the apps or they will charge him if he opens them after quitting. As far as getting a refund with wwg, we were not successful with that. I hope this helps. Great job mama! 💕
Enjoying your videos! And I swear I feel like I met you at some point at a function, haha! Anyway, keep up the great content and spreading the truth on this platform!
Thank you Martha, you are a Godsend to me I truly appreciate your kindness. I have been looking for this type of honest explanation, opinion regarding this company. Kindly show me how it will reach you. I am Canadian, I don't have Instagram acc. God bless you more Abundantly.
Amway, the snobbiest MLM. Lol, all the more reason to shop at Walmart. How nice for them to think of your children's safety and give tips on how to pay the least amount of attention to them as possible so you can focus on the 💵💰
We used to go to malls always .. that's what we were taught and .buy nothing just prospecting...and bookstores.lot of bookstores, restaurants , department stores and.....church!!!! That was bad in retrospect. This was when I was 18 years old to 25 years old now I'm 59. It's been on and off again for years since
This is absolutely ludicrous Martha. I assume you are a well meaning individual. I don’t know enough about you to make a fair judgment about your character. However, I noticed your verbiage is “I had to”. And by my experience, nobody can force you to do any of the things you decided to do. I don’t understand this. And why would your goal be to get someone out? Or make someone avoid the opportunity?
Okay can you explain a better option to get me free so i can see my daughter not have to grow up without me trading my time for money all my life until im 75?? This business has done nothing but help me. And my relationship and has made me encourage more people genuinely then ever before. I was depressed and did not want to talk to anyone. The people i know have helped so many lives and actually will take there time to help your life. The business is your business you can do it to create an extra 500 dollars or make more like 25000 dollars or even more! its on your work of grit. Theres good people in the business that i know and theres those that make it look bad. All who you connect with. Im all for helping people and want to build churhces and feed the poor.
August Hoerth i can break the business model down for you, and why any other business whether its a sole proprietorship or llc is more profitable than Amway and how it is really close to being illegal. You first have to analyze the segments that Amway offers. I’ll summarize 2 of them as the 3rd option is not revealed to downlines. The two are the IBO and referral system. The IBO segment that you emphasize as a business is not necessarily profitable. You have to identify who your customer segments are and what kind of products you offer as well as your competition. To break down who your customer is... you have to ask yourself who mainly buys your product other than yourself and your downline. It is prohibited to use any marketing tactics to get your IBO out there so you then have to identify your products offered. In the several markets of your products they have little to no market share in those specific segments. You have to ask yourself why right, well from experience the quality and price of those products are not competitive, so of course its going to be hard to penetrate the markets. You then have to ask yourself who is my competition, well its simple other than the rest of markets its other IBOs in Amway who are competing for market share, so you see this makes the market saturated where it is close to impossible to be profitable in the IBO segment. That is where the referral segment comes into action where you receive a percentage of your downlines IBO. Now what makes this close to illegal, well you see there is this ratio that must be followed when it comes to multi-level marketing for it to be legal. How do MLMs with unfair or deceptive compensation structures harm consumers? An MLM compensation structure that incentivizes participants to buy product, and to recruit additional participants to buy product, to advance in the marketing program rather than in response to consumer demand in the marketplace, poses particular risks of injury. Where such an unlawful compensation structure exists, a participant is unlikely to be able to earn money or recover his or her costs through selling product to the public. In such circumstances, participants will often attempt to recruit new participants who will buy product, and pressure existing recruits to buy product, with little concern for consumer demand. Where an MLM has a compensation structure in which participants’ purchases are driven by the aspiration to earn compensation based on other participants’ purchases rather than demand by ultimate users, a substantial percentage of participants will lose money.
Amway has a high score with better business bureau and have a high score. So it is a liget business. Like august brought out there's good people in the business and there's also ones that make the business look bad. I know personally for myself and made some money out of it. It's all ur choice. You can't bring an employee mindset with any business. Also people can say oh the ones that is making views about Amway just want more views for their channel so they can make money off of it. Which that in a case is a low blow. If the business didn't work for you tell your side, and be honest, dont talk down on any business because it didn't work out for you.
ramone johnson if you are using the BBB as a indicator that it is a good business than you obviously are not knowledgeable about business. You realize that having a good rating on BBB is easy right? You can literally pay them to have a better score, that’s what makes it an irrelevant scoring indicator. I do have a question for you, what is percentage through your IBO of sales from an outside consumer? What i mean by that is what is your gross sales percentage of products not bought by you or your downline. I don’t want a number just a percentage of outside consumers that purchase products from your store
Also what do you think would happen if we were MAWA’d and tried to talk to them about the fact it’s a scam in a calm, gentle, kind and informed way? Like if we were able to speak about the board process and show we understand? Would that have helped you when you were in it?
You’re mawa story is similar to how my husband did. I was 5-6 weeks pp and a nursing student i had to go back to school ASAP .. we we’re trying to get by with one income and that’s when they got him and us eventually. We pretty much left our newborn baby to travel to LV and SD for the functions and not to mention the biweekly meetings🙄
Why you would ever go looking at people who have failed or quit at something to find success in anything? Especially bitter 20 somethings who have no experience in life... I feel sorry for people looking to better themselves who come across people like this young lady who very obviously has never found success in anything.. who would rather go to any lengths to steal someone else’s dream because she doesn’t understand why something exists and what something actually stands for... just to get a TH-cam subscriber base... some of the things that she’s highlighting are true... most of what she’s saying and her “opinion” is not... Ultimately, if you’re listening to people who have failed... you perhaps decide/ deserve the same fate... WWG, who leverages the Amway Corp. Is a legitimate personal development platform who is focused on making good people better... it is leadership development with a vehicle geared toward teaching people how to become an entrepreneur in a truly free enterprise system.. which is especially needed in times like these.. people are scared... they don’t know if they’re going to have a job next year, next month, or next week.. at least there are people in the world who want to give people more options! this girl has been sold a Bill of goods and has been brainwashed by society and the commercial industry.. who has an employee mindset and will never understand business/business ownership with the way she thinks.. if someone is bringing you through a process... thank God that you found them and hopefully they see enough in you to want to share the incredible people and the system that has changed people’s lives around the world.
.003% diamond success rate says otherwise. Selling a pipe dream and taking peoples $$$. These king pins are ripping off people and it’s often not above board. Dream Thieves -Their goal is to overwhelm and intimidate you until you're either immobilized and stuck or moving in a direction that's ineffective. Good Job Martha, I mean DREAM THIEF!

@@cassiej2549 yeah they dont understand that. if you say your kids come first they will say you arent dedicated to the business or even worse, brainwash you that this is BETTER for your kids! sorry but no my kids need me 100% because their dad already has to work 40 hour weeks (and dad was gone even more when amway was going on!) and i think the very worst part is that they will indoctrinate your kids by telling you that you can leave your amway business to them as a legacy. yikes.

Yup. Those who don't/can't work the program always diss the PROGRAM and not THEIR lack of effort and dedication!!
Nice victim blaming buddy

i was recently apart of this and noticed my mind started to change and become all about amway I thought my mind was expanding and I was becoming free.

Me and my husband just got asked to join this business..a lady walked up us at the store. So sad
Do u even know what is a pyramid scheme

I think you handled it perfectly. You weren't being mean or rude.
Another thing, I hate when people turn Kool Aid into a mind altering poison. I'm 65 yrs old and I happen to like Kool Aid. Thank you.
How do people join network marketing businesses without wanting to actually network lol. Make it make sense yall.
Is anything out there that works?
But why did you get out?
Who told them that this is easy? It needs work and patience to get the results. I agree with both of you.
Simple? Yup! Easy? Nope! The ones who quit are the ones who cry scam!! Cracks me up!!

Any advice?
Absolutely. Tell them you'll support their business by being customers.
And everyone who knew better could see right through the Mawa when I would do it.
They are using relationship friendship farming as a tactic.

Thank god I never shared that stupid speech with anyone. It’s so embarrassing and disingenuous to regurgitate those words In front of any person.
Hello August, Thank you for taking time and bringing this to my attention. Can you please elaborate on the earning potential?
An MLM compensation structure that
incentivizes participants to buy product, and to recruit additional participants to buy product, to advance in the marketing program rather than in response to consumer demand in the marketplace, poses particular risks of injury.
Martha Reyes there's plenty of videos that explains the composition plan. Here's a video to watch. Amway compensation breakdown1. It's by LNT.
ramone johnson if you are using the BBB as a indicator that it is a good business than you obviously are not knowledgeable about business.
Making a pack with the devil 🤘 😈. Smh
Also what do you think would happen if we were MAWA’d and tried to talk to them about the fact it’s a scam in a calm, gentle, kind and informed way? Like if we were able to speak about the board process and show we understand? Would that have helped you when you were in it?
