    Does the gtx blade do deep shape ups on coarse hair better than the t outliner blade?

    Hi rj ,
    Which babyliss blade is best for close shaving around d neck areas without irritation ?
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge 👍🏽

      Sorry for the late response as i been away for a while, any blade except the fx3 will do as long as its factory set, you will always have to have caution when you zero gap a blade

    Can you make a video of how to push back the blades on the fx3 please? I have them too and I've adjusted them numerous times and I just can't get them to stop nicking people. Thank you

    Appreciate the review RJ,
    Would you say the Andis are good for balding?

    • @rjdbarber1613
      @rjdbarber1613  ปีที่แล้ว

      I apologize for the late response, but yes you can use them for balding depending on how you set them. I personally like to just edge with it to save its blade life so i normally bald with another trimmer i have set for balding

    Are all the andis trimmer blades intwrchangeable thats a big plus if you still have a corded model. The fx anf fx3 blades are not interchangeabke i guess that sucks.

    Hi Rj, nice video! I have two of the older fx trimmers but find they are heavy. I know the fx3 is super light but really tempted to get the gtx due to its shape and weight.. not sure how light it is though..

    • @rjdbarber1613
      @rjdbarber1613  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I feel that ergonomically they feel natural in my hand. The fx3 feel good too but not better than the gtx in my personal opinion. I will upload a new video on both trimmers again now that it has been a few months I’ve had them. I like both but prefer the gtx over the fx3. The older fx are better than this fx3 if you were wondering just in case

    • @rjdbarber1613
      @rjdbarber1613  ปีที่แล้ว

      Still hitting, i did however change the blade after a while, and the new one i had to set because they came a bit off, but once set it was hitting again just fine

  • @Ryan-bz4iw
    @Ryan-bz4iw 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I totally agree I got both! I like all features on fx3 but blade too sharp even when you adjust blade don't feel as good as andis and also I noticed w babylis blade it's so hard to see when alignment so if they get rid of black on cutting blade it be easier

    No gamna i love the ergo and the absolute hitters. Good video my next trimmer is gtx evo or fx3 but babyliss just dropped a black trimmer fxlo i think.

      I have the ergos and they are amazing too!! I do also have the absolute hitters but i dont use them much, if you get the andis gtx exo i have a strong feeling you will love them!!! Thanks for the support!!

    How long have you have the Andis gtx evo?
    Cuts By Reggie is another TH-camr and he said he had problems with them and bought another one and still had problems with it, something about snagging? I’m not sure what his problem was.

    • @rjdbarber1613
      @rjdbarber1613  ปีที่แล้ว

      I apologize for this late response, trimmers snag depending on how you set them and the deep tooth guide blade on them are normally what causes snag, I recommend a standard blade for shaving and balding. And deep tooth for edging and beard line up

    Great explanation of 0 gapping. Can you freehand shape with the Andis? Or will it not cut floating hair? I have the FX3, but I'm not sure if I love the blade angle and it might be too sharp to be comfortable.

    • @rjdbarber1613

    I appreciate the honest review. I was shopping for my husband’s Christmas gifts and was stuck between these two. At first I was thinking babyliss because of everyone on YT, but after more research I’m questioning how honest some of those videos are. Ended up going with the Andis. Great video! 👍🏼

    Does the gtx still blade scrape skin when balding or snag pores? I’m leaning towards the gtx exo but I’m not a fan of blades too thin
