That is the entire reason mechanical marine gyrocompasses are used for ships navigation. Besides the earth’s magnetic poles drift over time and would throw off measurements with a magnetic compass.
Top work. Thank you again! Anybody looking for an easy test of globe / flat should think about the Equinox. Everywhere the Sun rises it sets due West on the globe and significantly further North on the flat Earth!
@@martingorbush2944 Anyone who says they believe flat because that is what they see then says light can go anywhere put no thought into it. Too far gone. My "Anybody..." line is for any reader of the comments who is sniffing at the rabbit hole entrance.

Build quality not good enough so fierce amounts of friction torque. No chance detecting anything with my piece of junk and I did try a few different approaches. ☹ An EQ mount is great as you can use it for astrophotography afterwards! Mind you my favorite physical measuring device is a party balloon for the half Moon in the day time check of the Sun's relative distance. 😁You can keep it ready in a pocket and when the Moon is available blow it up to do the observation.
It's the same fellow, and the same gyro, but from what I can tell from clues I've come across, fecore and Stefan sort of parted ways when Stefan's mechanical gyro showed the predicted earth rotation. The gyro was designed, built, and paid for entirely by Stefan, but fecore was using the videos to promote their agenda, but as soon as Stefan got it running freely on the lowest possible drag bearings, then fecore just used the old videos from before it was working. At least that's what I've pieced together.
The gimbal is that larger square aluminum frame and the smaller rectangular aluminum frame inside it. It's not sideways, it's just oriented the way it is. Gyro wheels work regardless of how their axle is oriented.
@@fromjesse If the test was taken at the top of the earth, I'd agree with its movement, but chances are it's hanging off of the side of the globe at what longitude?

We want flat earthers to experiment so that they learn!! They had a hypothesis that the earth wasn’t spinning…set up an experiment & recorded data & shared the results. This is a good thing 😊

That was pointed to them many times. But in theirs fantasy world light can travel as it likes. ;(

EQ telescope mount, eclipses, even a mechanical gyro or a laser gyro, actual measurements and observations all demonstrate reality

You can't use tests to convene a flat earther. There belief is an emotional commitment and not an intellectual one.
Thanks Bob.
Interesting!
Apparently bob was right. Gyroscopes do show the rotation of the earth.
He's a true pioneer in his field. I just wish he wasn't embarrassed by his great discovery :D
Thanks Bob.

Bob proved aether moves not Earth
@@tonyflatearther
So aether turns around Earth's axis at about 15°/h, doesn't it?

Where is the gimbal? How do I know that your table isn't completely flat? How do I know that the instrument is completely flat? Why is it sideways?

No, its not effected by the magnetic field, it is effected by the rotation of the Aether.
Ha ha good one Aether lol.
