    Zion could never adjust to the NBA. He’s always been so much more naturally talented than everyone, he never had to take care of his body and stay in legitimate shape. In the NBA, you gotta be on your game 24/7 or the game will pass you by. Zion never pushed himself to be great and take care of himself.

    the problem is giving up significant assets for a guy who plays less than 50% of games, can't shoot, doesn't defend, has serious questions around his commitment and professionalism, and brings negative media attention to his team pretty regularly would be absolutely insane. The only saving grace is that his contract isn't 100% guaranteed, but that would still mean that a team would have to be comfortable ending up with nothing from the trade.

    Personally, I think Zion's hype has been dead since 2021. I know Ja's reputation has been slanted since the 2022-23 gun suspensions, but literally anyone could tell how Ja is the real best player in the 2019 draft. With the emergence of Victor Wembamyama who actually plays, I don't think the spotlight will ever be on Zion again unless he completely changes his perception. However, if the Pelicans actually draft Cooper Flagg, then I wouldn't be surprised if the Pelicans try to shop Zion especially with the reports from last season about the weight clause of "non-guaranteed money" which might make him an easier asset to dispose of.

    As a Lakers fan, *please* don't give us Zion Williamson under any circumstances. We already have Anthony Davis who gets injured over the smallest things and he's still under contract until 2028; we don't need another player on a bigger contract who's so inconsistent that he's more likely to sit out games and has never played 82 games or has ever set foot in the playoffs. For as annoying as Anthony Davis's frequent injuries are, I can at least rest knowing that if he was healthy, then he would play. I can't say that about Zion.

    • @adam24819
      @adam24819 53 นาทีที่ผ่านมา

      Davis has been consistent this season and last season like this season he's playing 39 of 46 games so far and 76 games last year. He has stayed pretty healthy than A LOT of star players so making the constant injury criticism is starting to feel outdated lol.

    The Blazers do have the pieces, hypothetically, to trade for Zion.
    But... to what end? We get a "superstar" that's not on the same timeline as us, would not be interested in staying long term, and may pick us up some extra wins that would hurt our rebuild? The only motive seems to be to sell more tickets, and that's not front office who's interested in building towards championships.
    The only scenario that makes sense to me, is we trade Ayton, Banton and two seconds for Zion, in order to bet against him staying healthy so we can waive him and clear the cap space.

    • @rileymcphee9429

    yt in 10 years “One of the BIGGEST NBA draft busts you’ve NEVER heard of!”
    that’s the place Zion occupies in my mind at least - nonexistent. Zion doesn’t exist, he’s not actually IN the league. Caring about Zion is at all already old-head material.
    He gets paid 100s of millions of dollars off a year in college. Not a bad haul! ‘Member when his shoe XPLODED 🤯 WOWWW!
    No, no one cares. He’s already a bust. One of the biggest busts ever. He’ll never recover from 6 year of driving his own reputation into the mud. An insult to the game really.
    While on your knees, instead to our lord and savior, Wemby, for a model 1st pick and franchise player. Commence glaze.

    Dude is such a bust, I feel bad for Greg Oden. Oden got screwed by injury - Zion just eats Wendy’s and screws IG models. 0 sympathy, nice career bro

    It’s been time to trade Zion.
    Idk why NBA teams hold on to players that make it very clear that they don’t want to be there or are injury prone, in Zion’s case he’s both. David Griffin is another example of the Lebron Effect, meaning Lebron makes players look better than they actually are so in turn the GM gets overrated for adding them.

    GET THE HORNETS NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH GUYS. You clearly have no understanding of what’s happening in Charlotte. It is not low risk high reward. If we get Zion it would ruin our future bc of his salary. I swear every video you guys mention the hornets you disrespect tf out of us without even knowing what’s going on. Either do the research or leave us alone fr. It makes no sense why you guys will do the research for other teams but shit in hornets religiously

    • @eyerull5301
      @eyerull5301 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Maybe you should do your research because Zion can be waived with his contract if he doesn’t meet game requirements and weight requirements so it really isn’t a high risk. Average hornets fan

    • @LegitLongevity
      @LegitLongevity ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @ dude it is high risk bc we need to be focusing on our core. We have a solid team we just need to stay healthy. Adding a whole new ego into the mix is stupid. We have a great starting 5, none of them i would give up for Zion. Unless the Pels want Micic Josh Green or Martin there’s no trade that’s makes logistical sense. We need to focus on our players and stop moving around pieces so much. We’ve got the best PG is the east, an amazon young talent in Brandon Miller, an amazon young talent in Mark Williams, a loyal and hustler in Miles Bridges, and a young shooting guard with huge upsides in Nick Smith Jr. this is a team with good chemistry. Why the hell should blow it up for an injury prone, drama surrounding, poor defender, big ego guy such as Zion williamson. He doesn’t fit out scheme. He cant catch lobs if he cant run down the court in a the fast break. You could argue we give up our bench players but then throw away our depth for what? We’re a legit playoff roster when we’re healthy but if we trade for zion that falls apart in a heartbeat. Im not a casual, i watch every gam
