I'm saying that Ridley's species is based around adaptation. As such, memory and experience is downloaded on a GENETIC level. This means that not only does Ridley adapt after each time he "dies", and comes back fully healed ,but if cloned, his body will still hold the genetic memory that he experienced, right down to his hate for Samus.
imagine the "fur" as small feathers. and remember that reptiles and bird are very close in the evolution line. it kinda makes sense for a being like riddley to have its early stages of life resemble more of a bird.

I don't even think it is a bad Metroid game. Prime took the series in a new direction and Other M just took it back to its roots and evolved it a bit. It really feels like the sequel to Fusion with the greater focus on narrative and all. Oh, and Adam...

So apparently, Big Space Pterodactyl-Dragons start off as weird bird things, then grow into some Xenomorph-looking things, and then turn into the Big Space Pterodactyl-Dragons. That makes sense :D

In a normal situation, samus wouldve been given leave to recover emotionally. she never had that chance though.

On the other hand, you have to give credit where it's due - it feels right to see Samus rampaging all over her enemies like she does in this game. This game had many cut scenes not showing any fear from her in metroid 1,2,3. Also not counting the other older ones that lack said cut scenes. You assume and just infer from them but then is told otherwise in this game. I would put this game in her earlier years.

The Ridley in other m is a clone. That's why it starts off as the little birdie creature, then turns adolescent, then you fight its final form. Then The queen metroid clone killed the ridley clone. Well, not every game in a series is necessarily the same genre. Look at Star Fox Command. It's strategy combined with the space-shooter. Mario has a racing, sports, platformer, puzzle, and fighting game. Just because it isn't the same genre doesn't make it a failure. It just means they did the same thing for too long, setting the fans up for something that wouldn't always be there.

I was wishing that the gameplay would be like Metroid Prime but, they did something very sheap. We don't make bad gameplay with awsome animation.
Well, not every game in a series is necessarily the same genre. Look at Star Fox Command. It's strategy combined with the space-shooter. Mario has a racing, sports, platformer, puzzle, and fighting game. Just because it isn't the same genre doesn't make it a failure. It just means they did the same thing for too long, setting the fans up for something that wouldn't always be there.
By this time samus and Ridley have fought maybe twice now I'll bet that thing was him while he wasnt fully regenerated again yet cause I can see the wings r somewhat developed

I think people bash this game without any real consideration. I know, Prime series was infinitely superior, but not because Other M is bad, its just that Prime series are easily the best games ever made. Other M is a good game overall, but its a bad Metroid game, that's all.

He was cloned by the Federation from the genetic material they got off Samu's suit. But what they got when the material was cloned was a small fluffy creature, not the fearsome space dragon they wanted.
well of course everyone knows that and I think if I read about this game correctly it takes place between a couple of the older metroid games
The same thing happened with Zelda: Wind Waker, and Super Mario Sunshine.
A remake of Ridley... He was killed in I think Super Metroid... Well at least in a game before the Prime Trilogy... + This Ridley appeared in Fusion!
