I love the Vespas. Beautiful scenery with the open air and an experience only a scooter could provide. Also amazing that a tiny 50cc engine can navigate up those hills.

We took a tour with a company called Tuscany Cycle. Not sure if this helps, but it says the tour is in the "Chianti Rufina region". We departed from Florence and they drove us out there in a van so not exactly sure of the towns name.

Why so slow?

We did a tour with a group and was led by the people running the tour. Most people were riding a vespa for the first time as well. So they controlled the speed to be pretty slow for everyone.
