Thank you very much my bro! I’m surprised you are the second one to say it shot all the way up to #1! That’s awesome. I like it a lot but I don’t think it can go up on my top 5 just yet… we’ll see 😅
@@PatPosseI only listened it once but I think the overall quality is way higher than I expected, I can’t say many albums from them in which I like all the songs. Panic Attack is incredible, The Serpent and The King and Crown Horns are very good, of the new ones I really like Sons Of Thunder and the Lodger. Tomorrow I listen it once more.
Love this album, great review 🤘 Btw i hear Crazy Train in the chorus of Gates of Hell, and in Escape from Reality he sounds a lot like Ozzy sometimes 😅 And in the verse in Devil in Disguise he sings „Frantic, tic, tic, tic“ which reminded me of Frantic from Metallica 😂
Dayum!!! All the way up to number one already !! Not for me but I respect your decision 😁. I’ll give it a couple weeks and I’ll make my JP studio album rankings video
In a world when Everyone's looking for that 1 big hit and the rest of the album is filler shit It's nice to know that our favorite bands from the 80s are still trying to put out quality full albums..also recognize your shirt THE MIGHTY TESTAMENT 🤘🤘
Hell yeah Testament rules ! And YES!! I appreciate albums more than songs and I am happy to say that this album is pretty much all killer no filler! (Or close enough…)
Rocka Rolla in 1974 and now i New one damn cool I have to get that album Invicible Shield JUDAS PRIEST Rocks A lot have change since that first album. If you like Painkiller what about KK. Priest !!!!!
I love Painkiller and I think KK’s Priest is right up my alley 💪🏻💪🏻. It’s crazy to think that JP is the same band on Rocka Rolla as on Invincible Shield!! Hell… it’s crazy to think that it’s the same band on Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@PatPosse Yes i know but Rocka Rolla in 1974 & Sad Wings Is 1976. I belive that Stained Class, Killing Machine & British Steel was the big albums for Judas Priest. Back then i mean
I think that Invincible Shield is, although far from great, still an enjoyable album. But I personally still prefer The Sinner Rides Again by KK's Priest 🤘
I definitely have to sit there and compare the two!!! I went in with low expectations for this album so I might have been shocked but I did enjoy it more than I expected!
I wouldn’t call it hype. I would say that it exceeded my expectations and that might have affected my overall assessment of it. But I definitely think it’s a great album. I need to spend more time with it (and with KKs) to rank it though…
This is little over the top and exaggerated but this is the world we live in now.. The album is literally a sound track and a travesty to be compared to SFV, DOTF and Painkiller. Ram it down - perhaps .Drums aren't that loud but i understand guitar players have no ear for drums. The hype is real. If you compare these drums with Sean Elg, they are soft.
It’s definitely influenced by them. I don’t think it can touch the classic albums but it’s a step in the right direction… songwriting, riffing and vocals can be easily compared (and sometimes matched) to those of yore…
@@PatPosse It's no different than rap music sampling songs. The drums are literally drum machine quality. It's too corporate and Kardashian - a soundtrack to a fantasyland but I'm not an impressionable teenager. It's literally "complacency upon the guiding eyes". You really have to be into the lifestyle of Rob Halford to not see or hear that's it just another album.

Great review👍🏼
Thank you Andy! Glad you enjoyed it!
Very impressed how Robs voice at his age is remarable.🤘
100%!!! It’s borderline ridiculous at this point!!!
Your review is not over exaggerated and not over the top.
Thank you
🤡🌎
I appreciate it! 😁 glad you enjoyed it!!!
It’s funny that you mentioned Ozzy, cause I could so hear him singing escape from reality. 🔥🛡️🔥

Nice!! I thought about including the 3 bonus tracks but I figured it’d be too long a video and some people might be left out

I'm not a huge JP fan, I do like some of their songs. I heard Panic Attack and it sounds good. I hear some Iron Maiden in there to.
There you go! Nice to see it’s not only appealing to JP fans!
Iron maiden are a dad rock band slow and belong in a museum

I agree with that. KK Priest is much more catchy. Invincible Shield is really good, but the exaggerated hype doesn't do the album justice.

@@747jono 😆 You should be asking Judas Priest addicts that? They need their crutches more than anything.
