Nothing but love and respect for Jose Mangin. That dude has been so supportive of our community for years now. He's not just some DJ or some guy that shows up at shows because work told him to.
@@LcBoy131 Little late to this, but briefly: Jose "Metal Ambassador" Mangin(teal tank top in background on-stage) is a SiriusXM radio Dj on Liquid Metal, also appearing on Octane and Ozzie's Boneyard on occasion; whom has been promoting upcoming metal acts on the station. He also has been hosting music festivals, mainly with DW. He has been a big voice in the metal community, has a few excellent segments on Liquid Metal, along with forming/running a metal charity, Called Headbang for Science. It helps people whom study a Healthcare field, or physical science. He also will be hosting Headbanger Boat, this fall. He also had a tenure hosting Headbanger's Ball years ago. Basically, he really is a Metal Ambassador, trying to grow the community! Stand-up guy, and there is much more, but that is enough to fill in!

It's pitch screaming. Basically adding grit to a note, and it's actually something I'm not used to hearing Courtney do. People been doing it for a real long time! Chris Cornell on the "cleaner" end and Joe Duplantier/Josh Middleton on the harsher end.
I love Courtney and the way she commands the stage but her hubby Mike and the rest of the guys deserve some recognition also. This band is phenomenal and 100% cohesive as a whole. Please come to AZ so I can relish in this in person. 🥺

She has a voice where she could have pissed off and become famous in mainstream music - she didn't and I think she will start bringing metal back into the mainstream. She has a voice for the casuals but then blows your mind with her death growl

Just discovered them a little before I went to louder than life, and I was blown away by their live performance. I've listened to them every day since. Can't wait to see them live again!!

She said in a recent interview that she had a polyp on her vocal chords for 8 years but she went to the doctor recently and got it checked and it's gone now.
@@johnbs199 : There's different types of ways to scream. I don't think just belts out the screams anymore like she use to in her former band iwrestedabearonce. Now she screams from her stomach and not her throat. She explained it in an interview before.
Can we just apreciate that EB was their first album, they had some mainstream singles but blew me away when the album dropped and on top of that they scored the feature from Sam Carter. Hoping I can watch this band grow over years
Hell yeah, this became one of my favorites. Singing and screaming is obviously really hard but she slays it. And the bass, guitar and drums are so jammy and bouncy they rock it and everything sounds on point. On point album sound wise as I’ve listened to is to many dam times. Lol 😂 🤘
I was there!!! I was there with my girlfriend about 10 people back from the stage!! She said when she looked around every guy was starstruck with her, including me😂😂. Spiritbox, sabaton, ice nine kills, gojira, and avatar stole the festival imo! Also that black album concert metallica did was absolutely fucking legendary

You can literally start doing this yourself. With social media its easier than ever. To to shows, get a press pass (easier to get than you think), network, talk to people, have a blog or podcast, etc. It's definitely possible to do it.
