Thank you dear Julie! This video was made in 2012, in Stongfjorden, Askvollduring, Norway, during Larkin Poe's tour in Norway, that culminated with "Thick as Thieves" DVD. Another Larkin Poe lost jewel re-surfaced by you! Thank you!
Sheeeyut. First Larkin Poe I heard was "Mad as a hatter" live version. Stopped me in my foggin tracks. I'm deep into checking all the other music from them and I am knocked out eva time. Ain't even kiddin'.
That's just great. Seems like these women have a hidden back catalog richer and more sophisticated than many recording artists' entire front catalog. So impressive .. and such gorgeous, seemingly effortless music.
I only discovered Larkin Poe 6 years ago. It's really wonderful to be able to revisit some moments of their previous artistic life. Thank you Julie, grazie Julie!
Wow Julie this is terrific! I love it. Thank you. I had never seen this video before. You always know what we need to hear most and at exactly the right time.
This video was Unlisted forever. I had it on my All Albums playlist. They played the song on LPTV and Rebecca said that it was not even on youtube anymore. 19 days later it dissappeared. I had a copy saved. I hope they don't mind. I only want to preserve these wonderful recordings and videos.
Julie opened her secret chest again, blew the dust and spider's nets from 12 years away and presented to us a well hidden gem. At least this song made it to be recorded on a disc. Sadly some 30 others did not.
Thank you dear Julie!

I also found LP 6 years ago. Searching for the lost songs became an obsession. It's been fun to find them.

I collect them from everywhere. This one has been on my LP All Albums playlist for years (unlisted until now).

Whats up with the time appropriate norwegian veteran registration plate on the car?
I have no idea.
Was that Mike on the guitar?
Good question, but, no. Mike Seal left the band before this album. It is Rick Lollar on lead guitar and vocals.
@@JulieMeyers Thanks, Julie!

The girls seem too young for old gold.
