Drinking Guinness without me!! Today’s top tip…when you get to a naughty bi-wash..set the lock and open one paddle for a couple of mins…water comes through the lock and not down the wash…close to half and mince on in.
You could always treat Mrs L to a pair of 4inch platform shoes. This would both solve the tiller height problem and ensure Mrs L is always at the pinnacle of high end fashion when boating.
@@NarrowboatNatterings probably best to speak to her about the suggestion from a phone where you can be some miles away. Safety first. You could be the first of a new trend, Glam boating.
That Burger looked nice mate, you can't beat calling into a country pub on your travels. You might want to think about swapping your powder Fire extinguisher for a CO2 one. I wouldn't recommend cleaning up after a powder discharge, it's no fun 😜
Lumpy, Mrs L great vlog as always. What I do when a tiller is to high is put it between my body clamping it with my arm then you just step sideways when needed, that way my hand can go in my pockets. Might be a short tem solution for Mrs L ?
Thanks for another watchable vlog, re the B***** Horseflies, keep some anti- histamine (hay fever) tablets on board and take one as soon as you (Mrs L) gets bitten. I certainly find they help.
@@stephengooch2242 yeah it’s definitely an option. It is actually a bit high for me to be honest. I’ve got to have some work done on the tiller bearing in the new year so I’ll see if I can sort it at that point.

With regards to the tiller problem. Instead of lowering the tiller. Why not put something across so Mrs L can stand on.
