As someone with a disability that isn't physical I certainly have dealt with my fair share of people like that guy out in the wild. Kinda why I prefer to not be on a solo mission ever.
That guy was a complete D-Bag. Pretty sad that there are clowns out there who never mentally graduated middle school. To hear his wife/fiancé say he does it to every mobility scooter like she's totally complicate with it - and then to try and defend his behavior instead of just apologizing - pretty disgusting. Although I hate when people say: "this is going on You-Tube" I feel like this was the perfect time to tell him that he will soon be famous. Now that I know these douche-nozzles exist, if I ever need to be in a scooter, I'll make sure to carry a cattle prod (or like device) at all times for idiots like this. I feel sorry for the little kid, he deserves better parents.

I used to borrow my buddies mobility scooter to go get our food in college. I was kinda jacked at that age...It's crazy how rude people are when you are in one of those things. You would think it would be the opposite. Occasionally, someone would do something dumb like that guy in the mall, and I would stop the scooter, get out of it and flex hard on the person and threaten them. They would freak the fuck out.

It’s possible, save 350 a month, start saving cans and bottles, and with in a year and a half or less, you’ll most likely have up to 4K

Wider wheels/tires, independent suspension, and lowering the seat as far as the motor allows, would make this thing insane. Using parts from a mini quad, would probably cut back on engineering time. You could probably use the front A arms/suspension from a quad, all around. Then get go-cart wheels and tire. You could also get some knobs for the dirt.

I'd definitely put a something like a 10mm steel plate across the bottom of that for better weight distribution, and lower the batteries as well.
That would somewhat improve aerodynamics and chassi stiffness as well.
If you could cut the 2 batteries into 4 halves and strap them across the floor that would definitely be the best option.

I feel like this would be great for a buddy of mine. He was paralyzed from a drive by shooting because he looked like someone that the shooters were looking for. He’s in a wheelchair and I know he misses his pocket bike because he used to be a part of a bike club. I feel like one of these might give him some kind of way to take a trip down memory lane and remember how it used to feel going fast again. I gotta find where I can get it especially because it’s been a couple years since I’ve seen him. 💯

Colin Furze's mobility scooter hit 82mph, but with a gas engine.
This e-scooter is hella cool too though.
It needs some stealth add-ons to make it a sleeper like its original body panels and a legit looking speed control switch so you can choose between speeds like 3/8/15mph. Then that secret hidden speed override switch for when you're finally out in the open...away from pedestrians.
Needs a proper stance for cornerings
