I missed just one! I’m so happy! 😄 great job Jenny! 👍🏼 it’s more fun to do the exercise when you are dictating it, rather than simply reading it on a book. Also the "wie sagt man das auf deutsch“ it’s incredibly effective, sounds like a German learning mantra!

should u do this more often? YES ABSOLUTELY!!! this episode has solidified my knowledge and i feel like i finally have these tricky adjective endings down. it's suuuper useful to take a quiz and get immediate feedback, and the way you explain thoroughly is awesome. keep it up!
I'm brain dead...but loved this kind of quiz! The very best! With explanations for each sentence whether it was nom, akk, dat, gen, pl and usw. We need confirmation of each to build our confidence, as well as tell us which ones we need to focus on. Hope to see more!
You are far from brain dead. Never speak poorly of yourself. God did not make junk, people choose to act less than human. Put your chin up y keep it there. You learning German shows you have an inquisitive mind desiring knowledge. Good for you.
Hi ! Fantastic stuff, as usual. Thanks to your step by step approach I got everything right except for the sentence with "Jeans" which is supposed to be feminine plural in PONS' dictionnary and made me write "en".
This was incredibly useful. Depressing, but useful. I intend to repeat it until i am more confident with the constructions. A brilliant video, viele danke.
A nice couple of 'rules of thumb' If an adjective has a definite article before it the ending can only be -e or -en. A preceded adjective in the plural (i.e with die(N&A),den(D),der(G), or kein, mein, etc) always ends in -en.
These quizes are wonderful. They make you think. I have a question Jenny. I am confused about Student and Studenten. I know Studenten is pleural, but can it also be singular? Why didn't question 36 say, "Der Professor hat dem verzweifelten Studen geholfen"? Since the sentence uses "dem," it must be referring to a single student. But why Studenten? Can Studenten also be singular?
i take one of your example, "Die junge Ärtztin behandlet den Patienten".The question is how do I know whether the noun "den Patientan" is singular or plural. Very recently I found out your channel in youtube, I should say, its awesome stuff you put it our for other people. I thank you behalf of all german learners and myself
I had a few questions about the previous 3 videos and you already answered in this one, Thanks :D i have a request, hope it's applicable .... is it possible to make a video about the writing skills and how we can pass the writing exam?
Jenny : is there any app or site where we can find plural form of words. I understand your examples. However get stuck for nouns to recognise in plural unless u indicate bestimmt Artikel die.
hello, had smth to ask about question nr. 36 ,is it student or students...kind of lost there ... too many "-en" i guess. Anyway you know you're the best ,right!!! loved every video!!!
Yes old English is similiar to the German, since Saxons lived in the north of todays Germany and Denmark. English was changed due to the Norman/Viking invasions dramatically.
@@lingoniGERMAN hallo teacher. I recently adopted German into my list of languages as I currently reading in 7. Yet I can say pleasantries in 19 languages. I see Spanish influences as well in German which surprises me as it's an Aryan language. Gott ist gut.
I missed 8!! Something is wrong with me because I remember the grammar(identifying the cases, sentence structure) but for some reason I'm having trouble remembering vocabulary. Without vocabulary I really can't advance. Any suggestions on how I can improve?
Exposing yourself to the German language daily. Reading, writing, listening and speaking. Get a tandem partner (Tandempartners.org). Work with a teacher. Watch movies, German TH-cam channels etc
This is my experience.....learn 10 new objects a day. Carry around a small notebook 📒 y write 10 words down daily thru your life. Ex. Chair, desk, family, world, y things of interest pertaining to your own life. That's 30 per month. It ads up. I can get thru 7 languages in reading. I know not your gender. Men are better with numbers, y woman better with letters. Shalom y God bless you.
Correction, I meant that learning 10 new words per day is, not 30 per month, but 300. I was in a house fire y had 14 skin graft operations, now I left handed, my apologies for the error. Shalom.
Ein Kommentar im Bezug auf allen Videos in der Folge ‚‘German With Jenny‘. Alle sind sehr nutzlich, aber es wäre viel leichter eine bessere Methode die Videos zu refrenzieren. Zum Beispiel, nach ‘for more on this, please see this video here’, kann man ein kleines Bild vom Video sehen, aber leider gibt es keine Nummer mit dem Bild, um das maβgeblich Video zu finden. Danke
Das Quiz war sehr nützlich Jenny. Danke :) Kannst du mir bitte den folgende Satz erklären? "Von unserem Hotelzimmer aus haben wir eine tolle Aussicht." Ich habe mir das Video nur angehört und versuchte, einfach ins Deutsche zu übersetzen und als "Aus unserem Hotelzimmer haben wir eine tolle Aussicht" übersetzt. Ich verstehe nicht warum in deinem Satz die beide 'von' und 'aus' gibt? Danke !
Jenny could you please make a video on how to use "about" in german? Like in we need to talk about your future, name one bad thing about Merkel, there are so many things I like about Hong Kong, I could've never suspected something like that about him etc... I've seen people use über, von, um and an, and i have no ahnung when to use which one.
it's not the preposition that you need to pay attention to but the verb you are using. There are verbs with prepositions (I already made a few videos on this topic) which you need to memorize. i.e.: Ich rede über den Film. (I'm talking about the movie.) = reden über Was hältst du von Angela Merkel. (What do you think about AM.) = halten von Das hätte ich niemals von ihm erwartet. (I would never have expected that of him.) = erwarten von
16:03 wait what? Is that how we pronounce "chinesischen"? My teachers in Mexico told me to pronounce it like in "ArCHitekt". Or does it just depend on the accent?
Hello, I'm confused with one example #43: "Ich habe mit einem neuen Kunden telefoniert." Kunden is plural, and singular form is Kunde. "Kunde" should have been used as the Unbestimmt Dat. form dictates if the guy was talking to one of its customer, shouldn't it be?
Thnx so much 😍🌸 I have a question I noticed that in akku case in plural especially in (bestimmt) u put (en) !! Shouldn't we put (e) !! or I get it wrong 😭
Hallo Jenny.
Danke vielmals.
Yes, please do this quizz more often!

I prefer verbs best at the end for some reason.
I adored this video. Please do more of this type of video ( quiz)
This was very useful. I missed a few, but that's how we learn.
+ptreth36696 absolutely :)

Scoobies doo, why did you find it depressing. It's called challenging your mind to higher learning. Your on the right path, do not falter.

+1 for doing this type of quiz more often. I kept messing up the plurals.
Time y practice.
That was very helpful. I'd love to watch more like it. Adjective endings are hard for me.

47 out of 50 correct. Not bad. Thank you!
I found the quiz very useful. but I think in 43th example instead of Kunden should be Kunde.
only 1 genitive example? overall, I like the quiz approach & think this kind of thing must be helpful for learners.

Hello, I'm confused with one example #43: "Ich habe mit einem neuen Kunden telefoniert."
Kunden is plural, and singular form is Kunde. "Kunde" should have been used as the Unbestimmt Dat. form dictates if the guy was talking to one of its customer, shouldn't it be?
The rule that applies here is N-Deklination (a declination for a number of masculine nouns)
Kunden in this sentence is singular

er wäscht die schmutzigen Handtücher (Plural)

is AUS in ;;Von unserem Hotelzimmer AUS haben wir eine traumhafte Aussicht'' necessary?
die neue Vorhänge doesnt works? because Vorhänge is plural and akkusative case, the plural are Neue?j
