Ness Ziona was founded in 1883 as a settlement of Jewish farmers and laborers came over mainly from Eastern Europe. Throughout the years the farming community supported itself mainly through agriculture. Since then the industry has grown and developed into a modern city with progressive education, new spacious neighborhoods, and a high-tech industrial park; all while still maintaining its special "small village" atmosphere. This is the basis for our slogan: "Ness Ziona, a city with the heart of a farming community".
In recent years Ness Ziona has seen achievements and accomplishments in numerous fields including education, cultural activities, sports, welfare, the city's appearance, improved infrastructures, personal safety and law enforcement. Its residents enjoy a high quality of life and a carefully tended living environment that is quiet, clean and of course green. www.nzc.org.il...

You Walked next to my old school
I was in Israel for 1 month in Beit Zara in 2017 ,I was able to see a lot of Israel during that time but certainly not these beautiful little towns.Thank you!

One question,where are all the people? Do you go very early in the morning or was this lock down time and people were not out?
Shalom. In residential areas, there are fewer people on the streets because residents typically spend more time indoors, either at home or at nearby amenities.

(Do you know anyone with the last name Pachornik? It could be spelled differently but sounds the same. Those are all of my cousins. My great great uncle Reuven { Pachornik} Lehrer found the Ness Ziona. I can't wait to come and visit..
