Without faith, there is alot of hopelessness and despair. He had tried suicide before. He was slowly declining.He probably would try it again. bruh just watched this and it’s wild how she acted and she cheated on her boyfriend. she never tried to go running with him or try anything he liked BUT tried some new movie with her boss and tried to make her boyfriend try it too?, act like that was dismissive of her? SHE didn’t even like that shit in the first place and tried to do the same thing as her boyfriend!! Until he said to sit down cause she was getting paid!! Like why didn’t she go out and buy running shoes and workout clothes or try something her man liked, take that seriously. He wanted to go out do things like Norway. Even if it was with his friends BUT Wtf she could have planed a trip. after he first told her he would be paying for it all or said where she liked and wanted to go… she never spoke tf up with her man. Like she said with her boss, the boyfriend is a air head? LIKE BRUH!! She didn’t read any books or workouts for her boyfriend. Dose he have to wanna die as well to get her into anything new? Or just become paralyzed and have millions bruh lol Maybe he would have married her long ago if she put in as much effort to try new stuff and take as much care for him too. If it was reversed, a guy doing this to his girlfriend. He would be a asshole, rightly so though. Honestly wish I didn’t waste my time on this crap movie… Benjamin button is a way better movie tbh.

Plus wasn’t she in bed thinking about him or when the dad made it out like she was there to try and make him not kill himself because he had her. when they were arguing about him offing himself and she over heard that? it just made it out to seem. Like she was knowing falling for this guy. While she was dating, was completely fine with it. As well when she watched that video on his laptop of how he was before. Off wave riding and stuff with his friends she laughs and thought it was cute or whatever. While her boyfriend pretty much was doing the same stuff. like it was mad weird but I think it was probably better in the books and better done but the movie to me really messed it up, made it kinda feel awkward and like wtf is going on here. it all really seemed off to me but to each there own and how it all cames together and who’s right for who or whatever. other movies have done it way better for me.
It actually portrays it as sad that he felt he wasn't enough. They told him his condition wouldn't improve so he basically lost all hope. He was also the go getter adventurous type guy so he struggled with his new reality.
