I am so proud of my son and his wife now to join Isckon movement when they were in university in Birmingham. Isckon youth team from manor London used to get invited to join and learn about Hinduism. I am not a follower of iskcon but its quite brave for someone from germany to uproot their lives completely and come and live in a temple in India. Bhakti really does wonders.
You also said chanting 5 mins every day helps. Observing ekadashi (fasting on these days) also helps immensely! After having no food and no water for the first time I felt such inspiration to do bhakti! Really recommend. My Gurudev says, when you observe ekadashi, Ekadashi Devi gives you bhakti.

The word " Hinduism " is not found anywhere in the Vedic scriptures. Dharma is the manifestation of the spirit soul's true nature which is that of service. When you answer the question how to become a member, the best way is to find a guru and take shelter. First you take guru pada ashraya ceremony, start chanting, then become a devotee. There's a ceremony. You get a spiritual name. I think that's the answer.

I am so proud of my son and his wife now to join Isckon movement when they were in university in Birmingham. Isckon youth team from manor London used to get invited to join and learn about Hinduism. That’s how as a family we now learning and living a way Isckon teaching. My grandkids go to Krishna Avanti school . We feel fortunate to have this available. I am very happy to found your channel. I am not a follower of iskcon but its quite brave for someone from germany to uproot their lives completely and come and live in a temple in India. Bhakti really does wonders.
You also said chanting 5 mins every day helps. Observing ekadashi (fasting on these days) also helps immensely! After having no food and no water for the first time I felt such inspiration to do bhakti! Really recommend. My Gurudev says, when you observe ekadashi, Ekadashi Devi gives you bhakti.

Like my religion is Hinduism and our practices changed like once there was something called sati in our religion but it doesn't exist anymore. Similarly most religion changes it's form. The gods we worship also their form changes like humans used to worship nature first then there was idol worshippers and other human worshipper maybe after 10000 years we will have different other religions in this planet But dharma will stay. The four pillars you mention are going stay here for 10000 centuries. All religions have the same values at its core. And that is dharma🙏🙏🙏

I am in USA (Near Chicago) for last 40 years. I am Hindu and going to Swaminarayan Mandir near me almost daily. I am so much impressed by Hare Krishna devotees like you. I admire your courage to come from out of India country and adopt the life here. Your devotion is the best compared to some of our so called Hindu. I am so much involved in our Swaminarayan sampraday and i do read our books to gain knowledge. There is no end to knowledge about God (Swaruo). I have read part of Shrimad Bhagwat and Shrimad Gita. Mostly i learn from katha by our swamis.I love to listen to katha. Thank you for all information about Mayapuri which i have not seen yet but may be one day when I come to India. When you answer the question how to become a member, the best way is to find a guru and take shelter. First you take guru pada ashraya ceremony, start chanting, then become a devotee. There's a ceremony. You get a spiritual name. I think that's the answer.
