Thai people is very kind with smile, but when they were in Korean war, Thai soldiers were very brave and heroic like Tigers from the hell. Korean remember Thai soldiers’ war history in Republic of Korea. They are never forgotten.
By the fact american troops already left but the Thai soldiers are still holding the porkchop hill fighting against large scale of chinese and ended up forcing them have to retreat and became Thai decisive victory which gave us nickname from american "The Little Tiger"

I am Thai and I really thank you for this quality video. Korea war was one of the most seriously war during the cold war that Thai sent many of soldiers to join the war. In addition, Battle of Pork Chop Hill was the battle that we fought fiercely and insisted not to surrender although we have fewer soldiers. I appreciate the unity of every soldiers in United Nations. Postscript: From my reference, I know that Thai lost 136 soldiers during Korea war which include army 130 men, navy 4 men and air force 2 men. Thai and South Korea have been friend for a long time. My grandpa was in Thai army at Korean War, I think he should be around second or first lieutenant at the time. He often told story that he luckily survive the war, because his friend want to exchange his post, then his friend got struck by artillery shell instead.

My grandfather was there as well. I've never met him & I didn't know him. He died shortly after the war was over. His daughter doesn't know much about his time in Korea either as he was away most of the time. But I guess I can imagine 1of the country balls as him, though. My great grandfather brother was the 3rd biggest thai military level he died due to how bad his wounds are, he fought in the Korean war with North Korea, he is the one leading the whole army of The thai soldier with America Soldier and the South Korea Soldier when fighting the North Korea, he was an absolutely legend. My grandfather was the leader of the 21st infantry Soldier of Thailand. The other infantry needs support that is where my grandfathers comes in. Then, we won. My ancestor were a legend. My great Grandfather is still alive 96 years old, still serving the military(not training and fighting just telling all Thailand Soldier what do to and strats of war) not retired. I am very proud of my ancestor and they were a legend.

I am Thai and I really thank you for this quality video. Korea war was one of the most seriously war during the cold war that Thai sent many of soldiers to join the war. In addition, Battle of Pork Chop Hill was the battle that we fought fiercely and insisted not to surrender although we have fewer soldiers. I appreciate the unity of every soldiers in United Nations.
Postscript: From my reference, I know that Thai lost 136 soldiers during Korea war which include army 130 men, navy 4 men and air force 2 men.

My grandpa was in Thai army at Korean War, I think he should be around second or first lieutenant at the time. He often told story that he luckily survive the war, because his friend want to exchange his post, then his friend got struck by artillery shell instead.

My grandfather was there as well. I've never met him & I didn't know him. He died shortly after the war was over. His daughter doesn't know much about his time in Korea either as he was away most of the time. But I guess I can imagine 1of the country balls as him, though. My great grandfather brother was the 3rd biggest thai military level he died due to how bad his wounds are, he fought in the Korean war with North Korea, he is the one leading the whole army of The thai soldier with America Soldier and the South Korea Soldier when fighting the North Korea, he was an absolutely legend. My grandfather was the leader of the 21st infantry Soldier of Thailand. The other infantry needs support that is where my grandfathers comes in. Then, we won. My ancestor were a legend. My great Grandfather is still alive 96 years old, still serving the military(not training and fighting just telling all Thailand Soldier what do to and strats of war) not retired. I am very proud of my ancestor and they were a legend.
