Thank u for the small tore .. I watched a biography on this place very sacred and spiritual place... not sure id ever disrupt the spirits with thousands of people with a hunted house but this was awesome..
Thank you for an informative and wonderful video. This is the first time that I have seen any of your videos. I have seen different shows and videos about Lake Shawnee. You gave information that I never knew about and have never seen before. You kept it simple but real and it made for a fantastic video. Keep up the wonderful work.
Really great video! Thank you for sharing. I was watching a documentary on tv and they mentioned Shawnee and the Native American burial/haunting. Fascinating stuff
I really enjoyed your video I like the history on all the old rides and cool stories I never knew about any of the people who live there on the property I'm subscribing to your Channel looking forward to seeing other cool videos thanks for the ghost stories have a good one:-)
Lake Nightmare!?!? 👀 I'm a WV girl and I haven't been to this, but I'm going to look into it. Thank you for sharing this amazing experience. Happy Halloween 🎃
@@brandon2xx182 just checked, she's closer to 10 mins away. She's in matooka I think. Still not 100% sure though. I'm not too much further. From where I'm at it's about 31 minutes to lake Shawnee.
My grandmother had a house a few miles away in Lashmeet I am related to the Mitchell Clay family the massacre of that family by the Indians is the story
This always interested me. I was wondering if anyone had information like who the children were what was the name of the girl who died on swings and boy who died drowned?
Saw things in this video I hadn't seen in any others. Don't live to far away from Lake Shawnee & have known about it for a while. Just haven't had the time to drive down 77. Coincidentally, my Mom's maiden name is Clay. They are originally from Virginia. I haven't taken the time to connect the dots but I'm certain there's a definite DNA connection. Been questioning what would happen if I did visit. Would the spirits know I'm connected to the Clays?
Maybe that’s a good way to find out! If you live close, definitely make your way there. You have to call ahead and make reservations for a tour but it’s worth it.
For the right price. But since installing a 12v solar system, running water with a shower and other helpful travel items, I’d have to be very persuaded to sell. The Vantasy is one of a kind! Thanks for watching!
Has anyone ever asked why they do not clear the crap growing all over it? Its bad enough we couldn't get into the fenced area - we could barley see the items within it to get decent pictures - even of the plaques within the fenced in area. Its all grown up everywhere. It looks good in your video. I was there yesterday morning and it was terrible. Ridiculous. By the way...how available are they when you call? If I were to have called yesterday morning...would they have been immediately available for a personal tour? I would find it hard to tour something so grown up though.
People who believe in hauntings are stupid. Accidents haooen everywhere. Death is part of life. More people died at the contemporary resort at disneyworld than this place. Anywhere that has large amounts of people raises the risk that one of them will pass.
why would the Indians attack? There has to be something missing from that story. I dont think anyone would do anything to anyone's children. Maybe trace that land history, maybe that land owner did something to the Indians of that land back then an on going fight for the land that was theirs anyway? Who ever just started to say the Indians killed those children are leaving out a big part of what really happen to cover up the truth.

To me, abandoned places look mysterious and beautiful, not being there, looking at the video, feels like I am. Awesome, scary, and love it.

Thank you for the nice compliment!
Mitchell and Phoebe Clay are my 5th great grandparents.

Where did you live
@@brandon2xx182 it's near Camp Creek State Park, in between there and Princeton on back roads
Cool place! I’ve always wanted to visit there!

Going to Mt Pleasant for the Mothman festival and hoping to have time to swing by here also
I loved your tour. Thank you for this. ❤️
I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for making it!

Great adventure!!
It really is a great place.
@@DraysWorld Did you know it's an Easter Egg in the movie Leave The World Behind on Netflix?? So cool!!
Excellent video. Interesting history
So I guess they’re gonna have to come up with a new scare theme for the pandemic section.
Today would have been an excellent day to go. Gray skies big winds and creepy...Its 3/18/2022 5:29 pm

I used to not see the hype on abandoned theme parks but for some reason I got the creeps passing Disney and knotts during covid when they were empty
My team has been talking about investigating here. After seeing your video, we definitely have to!!!
Tell them I say hello! They’re great !

Happy Halloween back at ya.
hey, good video, lots of nice closeups and good background info.
Thank you.
Interesting place.
My aunt lives 5 minutes away. I live about 15.
Where your aunt live at
@@brandon2xx182 not entirely sure. I don't remember her address.

I hear it is closed this year and not sure when it will open up again.

The story of Mitchell Clay is wild. I’m sure you have some interesting family stories. The site of their cabin was pretty spooky
Massacre or land recovery attempted the Indians? " YA'LL ARE A MESS"
This always interested me. I was wondering if anyone had information like who the children were what was the name of the girl who died on swings and boy who died drowned?
I’ll look through my footage and try to find this information.
How much does it cost to go
Around $20

Mitchell Clay is my 6th great grandfather
Should build a housing development on that property. 😉
Chris White owns it, and it's rather tranquil there. I don't believe it's haunted at all. I've never seen anything there scary.
Does anyone ever metal detect there?
@@MrCountrycuz oh good idea just dig up the necklace
I wonder if this was the inspiration of Friday the 13th
I believe that Mr. Gaylord White was actually the person who re-opened the park after it closed in 66.
I know the first one to have opened it was a man named Mr. Conley Snido.
Omargoshtv was there
He was there a few days before I went from what I understand.
You tell a different story about the children's graves that the Indians killed I saw there is a actuall memorial spot for that family!?
Yes, there is a memorial on the site of the family cabin.
Wanna sale that van???

Thinking of all the people that have died in the world there are probably human remains under you right now
I’m sure many were buried on the sacred grounds there. Thank you for watching!
Hey I'm new here/ I'm now looking at this video and do you have a Facebook page
