Love that Saito sound. That thing sure sucked down that fuel quickly.

Gorgeous run. Had a really enjoyable time with mine in my YT International Typhoon yesterday, 21lb + and it pulls her like she's made of paper, enough oomph to satisfy anyone (always flying on 10% Nitro, no more) ;) Keep up your great videos David.

Great little trick with the lighter fluid. Certainly sounded nice once she had warmed up. 👍🏻

Mike my first time to the field after a thaw. It is really a marsh in many areas. I went to check out how the runway covering held up and as soon as I stepped on it the water just gushed up. Getting to the runway was a wading event too. I was wondering why no one was flying today, now I know....

    Happy Easter David!
Do you notice a rich section in the midrange when you run FAI fuel? I have that on my FA 1.80. I can accelerate past it no problem, but if I stay at 1/2 throttle, it is very rich.
It is a pain to remove the glow plug to add lighter fluid, but at least it gets it started.

I have not run or tuned this engine enough to determine that Mike. The only times I have run this engine have been the two video posted.
