Nice to meet you Kara! Thank you for mentioning the size of the zaan and the fit in most women pant pockets! Because of the lanyard sticking out I did find it awkward to clip it to my pockets so I’ve just been keeping it clipped to a partition in my purse. I will definitely reach out to you when a void inside me emerges for a new knife😊
Thank you for validating my choice on my awesome knife. Tbh I’m quite satisfied with it I’ve decided to remove the lanyard as per my recent video. Once I begin sharpening it myself and just allowing the bug to take over me then I may look around for my next one 🥸
Ok I’m a knife guy, I’m into all sorts of EDC, knives, pens, Guns, wallets, basically everything, this is a refreshing video and was fun to watch. You definitely picked out a top notch knife, it doesn’t get much better than a Chris Reeve. Those are most peoples “grail” knife. A lot of people wait quite awhile to get there hands on one. So awesome job on that one. Carry it and enjoy it.

This is a great video! I just got my small Sebenza this week. Mine is a single-lug Magnacut model. Getting a Sebenza as your first knife is kind of like going, "I want to get my first car. I think I'll get a Lambo!" It's not wrong, it's just not the path most take!
Well, I have to admit, to pick a Chris Reeve Sebenza as your first introduction into the knife world.... that's impressive and almost unheard of. Very nicely done! Chris Reeve (the man, the founder) is a South African maker who moved to the US decades ago (Idaho) and has since been making some of the highest quality production (semi production, depending on your definition) in the knife industry. Very highly regarding among those of us who have collected knives for decades for the quality in fit and finish. All the best.
Congrats on your new Sebenza! Just got a Zaan myself, also love seeing so many familiar faces in these comments! Welcome to the knife community, we appreciate you
Congratulations on the very nice new knife! Really nice gear can be a bit addictive. Top notch boots, packs, clothes, lights, etc. are something I have come to appreciate over the years. Enjoy!
Yup I've already fallen into the EDC hole. So far I've accumulated a nice pen set of 3, a hip flask (which I have no business having, I dont even drink!), the sleep tracking ring I have on my finger at all times, an Apple Watch, a nice backpack, some nice clothes, etc... which I will make a video to share with you all since I believe there are others out there like me who enjoy viewing everyone's set up.
I've been collecting knives for over a decade and I've never bought a folder over 60 or 70 bucks, most well under that. And I'm waiting on my small sebenza with black micarta to arrive in the mail because it has everything I want in a knife. I'm pretty amazed someone who didn't collect would decide to plop down that chunk of change for a knife.
Buying a Chris Reeve sebenza as your first knife is just WOW! Its a grail knife for a lot of knife people. Very nice having a look at an unboxing of a knife from a non knife snob! Wel done. But be ware you can never just have one!! My current chris reeve collection stands at 20…… all forms on inlays ,different models and sizes! Its an addiction hahaha
Holy crap, a female non-knife enthusiast just bought a Sebenza. Way to go, girl. Helluva knife. Keep trying that thumb flick. You’ll get the hang of it eventually. The Chris Reeve’s Knives use a phosphor bronze washer system in their pivot which is a little stiffer than the ball bearings found in many other manufacturers, but you still should be able to open it with a thumb flick after a little practice.
@@southernbenz2098 I feel honoured for your trust and gesture omg! Please dm me on instagram @dreamxheng or email dream@dreamyurt.comand we can talk about how what we can make this happen!
You have excellent taste! Great choice! The rabbit hole only gets deeper from here.. haha.. but loved the video! I hope your CRK serves you well for many many years! You did extremely well!
That’s so cool that you spent that much on your first high end knife. Congratulations 🎉 Now your gonna want to get more of them. The more you handle it the scales will turn smooth.
Sebenza’s an excellent knife and kinda crazy it’s your “first knife”… as word of advice from a knife nut… don’t dig deeper, stay here and be content… or do dig deeper, but don’t say no one warned ya (also keeping fingers off the lock bar and placing them on the clip will allow you to use the thumbstuds and open it one handed)
Congratulations on buying your first knife!!! To go with sebenza for a first knife is WOW. You picked one of the best knives ever to be made. Opening and closing with one hand is easy when you get the hang of it so do not worry, the knife is really good!!! CRK have great warrenty so if you have any problems they will help. Have fun.
I have a small sebenza insingo and its enough for any and all knife purposes and not too scary looking to use in public...congrats on your purchase you have made an excellent choice!
In defense of drop point style blades: I have owned and carried a high end Tanto style EDC for over 10 years (Strider SMF), and I can tell you that the situations in which I found myself needing the tip strength provided by a Tanto did not outweigh the added challenge of properly sharpening both edges in a way that they did not blend together. Sharpening Tanto blades for long periods of time (10 years or more) becomes more and more difficult. Chris Reeve grinds his drop points in a way that there is more than enough tip strength for 99% of all tasks out there.
@@dreamyurt You'll get used to opening/closing it one-handed in no time. (Probably already have.) Left-handed is harder tho ;). The Loctite is for if your screws want to come loose. I find it often isn't needed on Sebenzas, but it is good to have.
Congratulations! That’s an outstanding cutting tool and perfect, IMHO, as an EDC knife. You’ll benefit from watching some video reviews of that blade. You’ll see others open it by ‘slow rolling’ and flicking it one handed. Soon, that will be you! The knife community is amazing; so, feel free to ask questions or join a livestream. Again, congrats!
This is probably one of the greatest advertisement for CRK. After seeing this, I went ahead and bought a small drop point magnacut Sebenza 31 with an ebony inlay and blue double lugs. I could have gone without the inlay, but it took me a while to find the spec I was looking for. If I could get my hands on a zaan, I will would also not hesitate and buy it.
@@dreamyurt recon1. They had a Sebenza blue double lugs tanto and a sebenza blue double lug pj, with polished blade; both magnacut. I was honestly shocked how well they're stocked.
I've owned dozens of Chris Reeve Knives and I appreciate seeing someone getting their first and loved your perspective. For maintenance they have videos on their site. Get a strop and it will work for a long time for you before a needs a formal sharpening. Find someone you trust for that. Kitchen knife sharpeners will butcher that beautiful blade.
Thank you for your perspective! This was refreshing to watch. I am not particularly a fan of CRK but I still appreciate the commitment to quality. Best of luck to you in finding a Zann tanto. Cheers!
Wow, that was a big jump into the pool of knives. Suggestion, make sure you have a first aid kit for cuts. When I started I noticed lots of the EDC channel guys frequently were bandaided up in the videos from injuries handling the knives. I went ahead and ordered some first aid products just in case, which I've now used more than I want to admit. It was very helpful to have them handy. Watching you handline that knife and not knowing how to flick it open brought back painful memories, minor ones, but still needed some first aid. That said, fun video. I wonder if you'll get the collecting bug... Looking at your views on this video, you might be able to start an "new to EDC" journey series or something.
Wow actually that's not something I even thought about... a first aid kit to carry around... is there any particular first aid kit maker you suggest? And you know what? My next video after the one I just posted yesterday will be about a pen set of 3 I purchased from a studio in the UK. I'll figure out how to structure the series hopefully by the 2nd week of April and post it by the 3rd week! Thank you for your suggestions!
It's so fun to see that many knife people in these comments! As everyone else said, congratz on your 1st knife (what a good choice!) and welcome to the hobby! :)
I'm sure someone has already said this, but the more you use that, it'll break in, and it'll get easier to open, and you should be able to open with your thumb before too long!
You got a cool knife . We call this the one and done and it will serve you well . Another great American knife company is Hogue and Spiderco . Welcome to the knife community .😊
Genuinely enjoyed the review. Im a knife person, but i LOVE getting input from all, especially "non knife" people. We get caught up in minutia, so its awesome to get input from those into knives on a topical level. Gained a subscriber!
I don't think you are as clueless about this knife as you pretend to be but your video still convinced me to buy a Chris Reeve large Inkosi tanto. I've always wanted Chris Reeve to top off my collection.
At first I thought you were Left Handed, then I realized the video is inverted lol. I've had my Small Sebenza with the Insingo since 2009 and absolutely Love It! Enjoy yours in good health Dream! Excellent first choice! Kudos!! Zip~ p.s. The Loctite is for use on the screw threads if they happen to come loose. Use a very tiny amount just on the threads of the screw. There is also the Torx Bit tool to use on the screws. The lube is for the washers that are sandwiched between the outside two pieces of the knife (called the Scales). I've found the best way to lubricate is to wash the knife in mild soap and water, thoroughly dry the knife (I usually let it sit out and half open for an hour or so, then with the blade half way open, use a tiny drop of the lube on a toothpick and put it on the inside of the handles on the rounded part of the knife blade, then work the knife open and closed a few times to disperse the lubricant. Just a word of caution, if anyone asks if you've got a knife they can use, ask them what they need cut and do it for them. Don't let the knife out of your hands/sight. Also, if you typically wear or carry something with pockets, I highly suggest getting the custom leather sleeve for the Small Sebenza that can be found on the Chris Reeve Knife Website and other retailers. Word of caution.....It's very sharp! Be Careful and always cut away from you with your off hand clear of the knife or you'll get a nasty reminder in the form of a deep cut.
Great choice! I saw another mention not putting tension on the lockbar. I recommend holding the knife placing your ring finger, and your pinky on the clip. Remove your pointer and ring finger from the knife completely. Hold the knife like a hotdogs you are about to put mustard on. You will be able to open it one handed. Endentually you'll get used to it and not have to hold it like a hot dog. The reason it doesn't open is there is a little ball that falls in and out of a hole to provide tension and keep it from opening unintentionally. When you press on the lockbar with your fingers it prohibits it from coming out of the hole.
Nice choice. You bought what for many collectors is a grail knife. I bought a small Sebenza many years ago as my first very good knife. It will last forever
Great purchase! You are fortunate that it made it to you from the US without any issues. When importing knives it’s best to choose a authorized dealer to get it delivered to. Approximately a week ago Thunderbird Gear in Vaughn Ontario had 4 Umnumzaan Tanto but they sold out very quickly. On their website you can ask to be notified when new stock arrives. Just a heads up it will take time to appreciate the Umnumzaan from the ease of a Sebenza. I recently acquired a tanto Zaan having been using a large sebenza and small inkosi for a year. It’s taken a a couple weeks to get use to the difference in deployment and dis engagement but it was worth it. Enjoy!
WOW! Well, this is probably the most refreshing CReeve unboxing we've seen on YT! Unbiased, raw and fun! As a fan/user/collector i'm happy to see a youngster taking interest in these High-end products besides the Usual Tier-1, hunting, gunslinging, Rambo camouflaged, grey bearded Buscraft geriatric flukes and suspects!!! Awesome and well done! Keep it up! Greetings from Amsterdam ;-)
The grease is indeed for the action and smoothness. When you disassemble the knife, put a little bit on the washers. There are tons of how to videos on here. Nick shabazz and faeblades have some good videos on how to do this. The loctite is to keep screws from unscrewing themselves. The sebenza has an internal piece called a "pivot bushing", which means you can tighten the screws all the way down really tight. This makes self loosening screws less of a possibility than other knives. You shouldn't need the loctite, but if they begin to unscrew themselves on you, just put a small drop on the pivot screw thread, tighten it up, and then leave it alone for a day. Loctite needs 24 hours to cure Good luck!
Congratulations, you're off to a great start! CRK is a rather high end brand to start out with. Keep practicing and you'll be opening one handed no problem. I started collecting CRK's about 10 years ago and quit a just few years ago. I have about 25 of them because that's about all I bought. They make lefty models and that was a big deciding factor. The prices are crazy now and availability sucks. I bought ones with beautiful damascus blades for what the basic ones go for now. A CRK has been with me 90% of the time since 2013. Like a good dog, they are one of this man's best friends. Keep watching videos about them to learn, it's important. You don't really know much until you've seen 15 or more videos. Don't feel rushed to take it apart. Search for "Sebenza 31" and just listen to people ramble about their knives. Now you have to find someone to sharpen it. That is an entirely new step in the knife hobby. I would happily do it for free, but the border is an issue. CRK will do it for free if it's safe to ship a knife back and forth across. Thanks for sharing and not hiding your interests. Liked and subscribed.
It is perceived as high end. Still just a flat handled framelock. I mean look at say a lionsteel sr1 or 11 you get full ti integral handle with incredible machining for $200 or the zt 0055 which has insane machining inside and out. Crk could never produce something like either of the two I mentioned.
@@hyssean12 Do you honestly mean CRK "could never" make a lumpy handled knife or did you really mean they won't/choose not to make it? They can make any handle shape they want to make. They want to make the one that just keeps selling out asap. Customers, and lots of them, agree that the knife with its basic design and materials is worth the cost. If shelves were full and they had to be discounted, then you wouldn't sound so dumb. However, give the actual situation... You decide.
Oh Girl, you got yourself the Apple of knives! Chris reeve is a very fine company and they make VERY fine knives! If you treat her right, you just bought yourself a companion for life!
Congrats on the new sebenza. It will get much smoother and easier to open as you use it. The scales will get nice and velvety feeling as you carry it too. Try pressing your thumb nail under the lug to open it. Just use pressure to pop it free from the detent, then roll it open with your thumb. Good luck and enjoy it!
Do more knife videos. you will be surprised how many of us knife nuts are really out here ! I only collect and use Chris reeve knife’s. I have a umnumzaan, small seb and a small inkosi. it’s awesome seeing more women get into knifes especially Chris reeve knife’s! You picked the best knife makers knifes! However the Umnumzaan is always KING!
For me, personally, part of the enjoyment comes from sharpening my knives so that my knives are sharp when I need them. A dull knife is frustrating. Of course you don't want to ruin a good knife like that trying to sharpen it if you don't know what you're doing. But you might consider getting a budget knife and sharpener and give it a try. You might enjoy it, lots of people do. I guess it's not for everyone. But if you wanted to try and learn it, maybe for the knife something like an Ontario Rat and for the sharpener maybe something like the worksharp field guided sharpener. Nice knife and nice video. Good luck
Your small Sebenza video was excellent. Another really cool knife is the WE Knives titanium Elementum. It’s a really cool small knife. It’s less expensive than a small Sebenza. It has a flipper tab, so you can open the knife easily with one hand. Civivi has elementums at budget knife prices
I tend not to recommend the Elementium because like the Saakshi are a blatant copy of the Ferrum Forge designed Stinger and Gent line that also are available in budget friendly materials.
You have small hands. The small Sebenza looks like a large Sebenza in your hands. The Umnumzaan is larger than the Small Sebenza. It might be a good idea to check out a knife with a flipper. So you can open the knife with one hand
Dream, you done good girl. A well thought out purchase that could very well be the only pocket/EDC knife you'll ever need. However, judging by some of your replies to the comments here, I suspect that in the semi near future, you will be owning others. Welcome to the knife community.
Congratulations! I'm Canadian too and loved your video! I'm a knife collector and absolutely love know you're happy with such a fantastice knife! Enjoy every moment! Cheers from Wesley
Absolutely love to see someone new get into knives with one of the most reputable knives. I recommend find a known sharpener when you need it, send it to Chris reeves or learn yourself on cheaper knives, congratulations 👌 I carry my large sebenza everyday as well 🤙
Great first impression. Word of advice, when trying to use the thumb lug use the pad of your thumb not your nail. From what I could see you tried pushing with your nail, and honestly it's an impossible task. If u use the pad of your thumb it's much easier
So interesting seeing someone newer to knives doing an unboxing like this! The small Sebenza was a fantastic choice. Hope you check out some other cool stuff! Highly recommend looking into a Sharp by Design micro Evo Typhoon. It's such an amazing knife and I think it's the perfect size for your hands!
You said you dont know much about steel? Thats entirely fine! Im wanna explain you what steel you have and what it can do! So I personally own and carry a Code 4 with a Tanto-point in CPM S35VN (great blade style and very VERY Durable!) But this isn't about my Knife! Its about yours! S35VN is extremely tough at 60 HRC (seldom chips only rolls!) But before we get back to S45VN and its features, I need to tell you a bit about its brothers (S30V and S35VN). S30VN and S35VN do not fundamentally differ from the alloy concept. S35VN is an optimized variant of S30V. As already mentioned, the basic concept of the alloys is almost identical. The carbon content is 0.11% lower in S35VN and 1% vanadium has been replaced by 0.5% cobalt and 0.5% niobium. The proportions of chromium 14%, molybdenum 2%, tungsten 0.4%, manganese and silicon both at 0.5% remained the same. With CPM-S45VN, however, Chris and Crucible Steel have embarked on a completely new path. The carbon content has been increased to 1.48 percent and is back to the value of S30V. Theres some change in the element chromium. The chromium content increased from 14% to 16%. The proportions of molybdenum and vanadium remain the same, tungsten fell victim to the canceling. 0,5% niobium and 0.15% nitrogen have been added to round out the alloy concept of S45VN. S45VN has better edge retention and corrosion resistance compared to S35VN. Compared to S30V, S45VN has the same or even better edge retention and toughness and is more corrosion resistant. From the composition alone, you can tell S45VN will be an 100% upgrade to S30V and a partially upgrade to S35VN. Great Steel and Great Knife! S45VN is still pretty tough and it can handle some abuse. But I might be concerned about the sharpening, you'll gotta need Diamonds for this carbide monster.....otherwise you might ruin your Stones (Arkansas stones DIE against S30V and S35VN will completely obliterate them, so S45VN will do at least the same as S35VN....Arkansas nowadays are just bling stones and keept for display)
Wow… what a big piece of a whole golden chicken!!! Too big to be a nugget!! Thank you for your time in your explanation! I’ll have to copy and paste this into my notes and reread this again as it’s really detailed and a bit overwhelming. I had to google what HRC is. Also what are the benefits that molybdenum and vanadium add to the steel? Also didn’t know tungsten is combined into the steel as well like I thought it’s really hard but could also shatter
@@dreamyurt I appreciate your comment and Im happy that I could help :) Also! I have the answers for the other questions you asked! Vanadium is a very strong carbide former. It binds nitrogen and gives a fine-grained structure. Vanadium increases strength, wear resistance and toughness. Molybdenum reduces tempering brittleness, for example in high-alloy chromium, nickel and manganese steels, and promotes the formation of fine grains. Molybdenum increases hardenability, tensile strength and improves machinability, pitting resistance and corrosion resistance. Molybdenum reduces ductility, which is a disadvantage. The amounts of tungsten added to the steel are fairly small, to ensure it doesn't shatter. HRC is the Hardness according to Rockwell. Which is the depth of penetration of an indenter measured by applying a certain force. Either a ball (HRb) or cone (HRc) can be used.
Very cool! I've been into higher end knives for a couple years now, but only today have I finally got a sebenza. Grabbed it from true north knives as well. I've already tried the inkosi and umnumzaan. I like it alot. I like how it has a thinner grind You should get a Koenig Arius next! ALOT easier to open than the seb! Or maybe some Shirogorovs
Great video. Great choice on a quality carry. Your putting pressure on the lockbar / detent (small ball holding the blade closed) when trying to one hand open. It's tricky but try keep your figures on the clip or frame and you should be able to open it with your thumb.
Yeah so I just checked them out... while they look really solid and cool as well. I'm not a fan of how many patterns on the handle they have. I only just checked them out and didn't go in depth though
Just got my first crk. Small inkosi, natural micarta. It's okay. I like it, but most of the knives I have and buy are fidget toys. For example, we mini malice, or the we vision R. Also have a shirogorov f95t. Action is smooth. Different knives have different features. Crk is basically basic tool. They're very well built, and they run on washers. They're literally made to be a high quality user knife.
You've unlocked Grail knife achievement in 0-60, some of us seasoned EDC enthusiast are still working on that.. LOL Nice job on your first review on something you don't know anything about. Just keep practicing those finger flips you'll get it in no time.. :)
Enjoy the Sebenza. You really need to cycle it open/close a lot to break-in, but once broken in, it’s a joy. These aren’t fidget knives. These are smooth, precision tools. Sebenza is great for a first CRK. The Umnumzaan is much larger, and opening requires more practice, but it’s one of the best looking knives on Earth and tough as hell.

Sweet!! Everything is backwards on my screen (word wise) 🤣 You will have a blast finding about knives!!
TWENTY…😨
That may be the s45vn steel model. Great everyday use steel and from what I understand crk makes a very solid knife and is worth every penny
Glad to hear this
Classic knife. I'm old, so the first knife that I collected was a Buck 110!
Hehe I'm able to open it with one hand now
@@dreamyurt Awesome! May I send you a couple more knives to review on camera if you send them back to me?
@@southernbenz2098 I feel honoured for your trust and gesture omg! Please dm me on instagram @dreamxheng or email dream@dreamyurt.comand we can talk about how what we can make this happen!
You have excellent taste! Great choice! The rabbit hole only gets deeper from here.. haha.. but loved the video! I hope your CRK serves you well for many many years! You did extremely well!
Thank you for your feedback 🫶🏼
@@dreamyurt aww no problem, you’re very welcome! Really enjoyed your video and subbed. I’m looking forward to your next video!
That’s so cool that you spent that much on your first high end knife. Congratulations 🎉
Now your gonna want to get more of them. The more you handle it the scales will turn smooth.
Haha thank you so much and I will keep your words in mind
Grail knife for me. Nice.
Hopefully you are able to have one in the very near future!!!!
Have fun.
Thank you! And you bet I will haha. I lurked around on the internet for many months before really hitting the bullet!
awesome purchase, my 31 with s35vn has been put into some severe abuse and it holds up pretty well!
Very beautiful knive.so expansive….
I have a small sebenza insingo and its enough for any and all knife purposes and not too scary looking to use in public...congrats on your purchase you have made an excellent choice!
came for the knife review, stayed for the ASMR.
You went straight for the best. A great choice 👌
Hehe thank you
In defense of drop point style blades:
I have owned and carried a high end Tanto style EDC for over 10 years (Strider SMF), and I can tell you that the situations in which I found myself needing the tip strength provided by a Tanto did not outweigh the added challenge of properly sharpening both edges in a way that they did not blend together. Sharpening Tanto blades for long periods of time (10 years or more) becomes more and more difficult.
Chris Reeve grinds his drop points in a way that there is more than enough tip strength for 99% of all tasks out there.
Obviously I can't speak to coolness factor. I'm just speaking to the objective experience of owning and using heavily a Tanto longterm.
Oh no... don't tell me that T.T... but I still want to have one. Will figure it out eventually. Thank you for bringing this up!!
That is a hell of a first knife. Great choice.
Thank you Mark I agree :)
@@dreamyurt You'll get used to opening/closing it one-handed in no time. (Probably already have.) Left-handed is harder tho ;). The Loctite is for if your screws want to come loose. I find it often isn't needed on Sebenzas, but it is good to have.
Umnumzaan is the model you're trying to think of. Pronounced "ooom - noom - zahn"
Wow I appreciate you for writing the proper pronunciation 🙏🏻
Congratulations! That’s an outstanding cutting tool and perfect, IMHO, as an EDC knife. You’ll benefit from watching some video reviews of that blade. You’ll see others open it by ‘slow rolling’ and flicking it one handed. Soon, that will be you! The knife community is amazing; so, feel free to ask questions or join a livestream. Again, congrats!
Thank you Dan! Feeling motivated to make an update video with how much I'm enjoying the small sebenza!!!!
YES!!!! Umnumzaan is a wonderful knife.. in fact all there models they make great products
Congratulations C.J! I’m glad this video helped cement your decision to own one of the coolest knives ever! May I ask what site you purchased from?
@@dreamyurt recon1. They had a Sebenza blue double lugs tanto and a sebenza blue double lug pj, with polished blade; both magnacut. I was honestly shocked how well they're stocked.
@@dreamyurt update. I returned my sebenza and bought a mnandi. I'm in love.
Cheers!
As the resident old man, I had to come check this out
Wow, that was a big jump into the pool of knives.
As you use the knife it will get smoother. Try not to put pressure on the lock bar while opening or closing with your fingers.
Sounds good!!!
It's so fun to see that many knife people in these comments! As everyone else said, congratz on your 1st knife (what a good choice!) and welcome to the hobby! :)
Thank you for your time in watching this video!
Thank you for adding 2 words to my vocabulary. Minutia and topical!
I freaking love this vid. You literally bought one of the best pocket knives you could possibly buy.
Please do an update after a few months or so.
Wow heavy on the asking ppl what they need to cut! Thank you for writing this down as a good reminder!
I think you did well to get the drop point blade! It’s a classic, and looks great!
It's the best looking CRK Imo. It's perfect. Simple
I remember my first Sebby, I’m super happy for you 😊👍
Great purchase!
Enjoy!
Awesome knife!!
Thank you!!! I agree!!!
I can’t wait to get a CRK. Welcome to the knife community! ✌️
Knife community brought me here, badass pickup.
😁
Girl you have good taste! Hell yeah sweet blade!
Thank you!! 😁
Thank you for your feedback!
You have the best , just start using it and enjoy perfection ! 🤗
Marine X sent us, great knife ✊✊
Sup T-Bag!😁
Loctite needs 24 hours to cure
Good luck!
You never go wrong with Chris Reeve Knives never👍👍👍👍👍
Congratulations, you're off to a great start!
You decide.
Thank you for watching this video and sharing your anecdote. I appreciate you🫶🏼
Very cool, congrats!! Can’t wait to see what you get next!!!
Oh Girl, you got yourself the Apple of knives!
Chris reeve is a very fine company and they make VERY fine knives! If you treat her right, you just bought yourself a companion for life!
I love my Small Sebenza, Name is accurate though it is small, I'm thinking of selling and getting the large
Good luck
👊
Haha . This is great . Look at all the knife community comments . We should send her knives to review community . 👍
Ok, this kind is an authentic EDC nut and doesn't even know it yet. Surprisingly refreshing. Keep making videos please.
Congratulations! I'm Canadian too and loved your video! I'm a knife collector and absolutely love know you're happy with such a fantastice knife! Enjoy every moment! Cheers from Wesley
Secure that thing and thumb flip it like a G! Lol just be careful and after a few times you’ll be a pro. Awesome knife!
Nice to see more women enjoying this hobby.
I hope you start providing further reviews of other knives. Good luck
as an avid enjoyer of the EDC world, that is about as good as knives get. way to get into the realm of EDC! enjoy your fantastic knife.
You picked a class pocket tool! They are the best
Absolutely love to see someone new get into knives with one of the most reputable knives. I recommend find a known sharpener when you need it, send it to Chris reeves or learn yourself on cheaper knives, congratulations 👌 I carry my large sebenza everyday as well 🤙
That's quite the starter knife!
So I personally own and carry a Code 4 with a Tanto-point in CPM S35VN (great blade style and very VERY Durable!)
But this isn't about my Knife! Its about yours!
S35VN is extremely tough at 60 HRC (seldom chips only rolls!)
But before we get back to S45VN and its features, I need to tell you a bit about its brothers (S30V and S35VN).
@@dreamyurt I appreciate your comment and Im happy that I could help :)
Also!
I like how it has a thinner grind
You should get a Koenig Arius next! ALOT easier to open than the seb! Or maybe some Shirogorovs
I just checked out your suggestions and I am impressed. 🫶🏼
Great video. Great choice on a quality carry. Your putting pressure on the lockbar / detent (small ball holding the blade closed) when trying to one hand open. It's tricky but try keep your figures on the clip or frame and you should be able to open it with your thumb.
Wait until she's finds out about Olamic or Shirogorov 😮😂❤
Yeah so I just checked them out... while they look really solid and cool as well. I'm not a fan of how many patterns on the handle they have. I only just checked them out and didn't go in depth though
This is the way
Just got my first crk.
Great choice and nice video! Welcome to the addiction! 😊🎉
Make sure and be careful with it it’s very sharp and also oil the pivot. You will have to break it in just keep opening and closing it
