I have a reason for why ally was being “inconsistent” with her haters. When she finally stopped worrying about them, it was because of Riya. But now Ally realizes how Riya never cared for her or respected her (end of episode 17) Furthermore, she even told Connor that she doesn’t want to completely stop caring what others think because she doesn’t wanna turn into Riya. So I would argue that this was development. Considering that Ally now knows not to take advice from people like Riya, but take the advice from people who are truly kind to her, like Hunter, Tess, Ashley, and Connor. I understand why you would think that she was being inconsistent, or still think she is inconsistent. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
That’s definitely an interesting perspective that I didn’t even see! Thank you for sharing your thoughts My addition to this would be to still really focus on Ally realizing that Riya’s advice isn’t worth taking, that she shouldn’t have followed it, etc. because as is it still feels like she realized it out of nowhere, nothing from EP 17 developed into that so it weakens her development this episode then It could’ve been stronger still looking from this perspective - ty again for sharing!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I feel like dcas is just getting a total hate train that’s getting more and more out of hand and it’s becoming a self fulfilling cycle. People now go into the episodes fuelled by hate and just come out the same. I don’t think a character being ‘inconsistent’ is bad at all - real people have emotions and flip back and forth constantly. Ally was never a Riya, she just had enough of Jake’s crap and it boiled over in that few episode stretch between 14 and 16 especially. She was never conniving or malicious, she just snapped at Jake which is entirely fair from her perspective. If you rewatch the season from her perspective Jake has been an asshole to her and he usually initiates before she retaliates, but for some reason all people bring up is the bear thing like it’s a real crime and not a cartoon scene between 2 characters that dislike each other. Don’t get me wrong, I like Jake too. His ‘backtracking’ I don’t think is entirely unrealistic. One of my favourite lines in fiction I think is from persona 5, and it goes along the lines of ‘just when you think you have everything sorted out, one thing can bring you right back down’ and this entirely applies to Jake too. Even developed characters aren’t perfect and I think it’s good to keep some imperfections. I still hope Ally wins over him, but he’d be a fine winner. Another thing I want to say - I strongly feel that hating on a season because fan favourites aren’t in the finale is not fair. I’ll accept having problems with its overall writing like Grett seemingly having a winner story over the season then throwing it away, or Connor’s relationship with Riya in general, but just looking at the finale cast and saying ‘this season sucks’ as many people seem to be doing is not fair. If anything if it was just fan favourites I feel like it’d be boring and pandering. Giving someone like Ally who got nothing in season 2 a chance to shine is great, and having no 100% rootable finale contestant is interesting and I really like it.

Exactly. What’s also annoying is supposedly their feud ended when they voted off grett but now it’s back? Now it just make their talk on strategy redundant and just crap way to get rid of grett

Finally someone spoke the truth!! This is the worst episode of DCAS Episode 10 is painful to watch for me but it is storyline accurate. The season could swap some eliminations and expand some plot lines, but for me, the episodes are not bad for it's storyline, because they were consistent with its main plots. This episode just threw all the progress away. Why did Jake regressed so bad after he worked together with Ally? How could Connor befriend Ally so quickly when last episode he wanted to vote her out? Ally literally saw Jake putting his hair band on Connor's foot how did she still accused him? WHY DID ALLY AND JAKE STAYED AT THE GROUND FOR SO LONG? HOW DID RIYA FIND HER LAST PIECE SO QUICKLY?? I can understand Ally's insecurities coming back, I can understand Jake's regressing a little and noticing this but they did this too late and in the worst time for it be enjoyable and understandble, they just worked together to vote Grett out dude, their beef is annoying as fuck and it was NOT NEEDED AT ALL. I mentioned in another place, but this episode could follow the same direction it originally did, Riya's winning the challenge, Connor's quitting the game for the magenta duo but instead make Connor actually tell both Ally and Jake about her destroying the game and blaming on Jake so they could keep episode 17 progress. But no, he had to blame both of them and scold them like children instead. He caused his own elimination by not telling them, he let their beef go on, he let Ally's hate for Jake go on, he let Jake's jealoulsy go on. If only he told them, Ally wouldn't be pissed at Jake, and Jake, while might be a little jealous, would've give up on working with Riya since she's was trying to put Connor against him. It would've been better if Connor got out on episode 17, Riya wins the challenge cuz she knows she's in danger and Ally and Jake vote Grett's out cuz she's a bigger threat in the finale. Grett's whole elimination feels pointless with this episode now.
I didn’t expect this episode to be good, I expected it to be watchable, my expectations have fallen though the roof, the amount of derailments in 5 episodes. Idk what is happening, I know the direction the writers want to go but it’s just not hitting at all for me, or everyone else
I want Ellie, Gabby, and Grett to steal the prize money. At that point, Kristal would be too burnt out to do anything about it. Also I theorize that Trevor and Emily will be the hosts of season 4.
Considering how much I liked Ally and Connor in this episode I expected it to hurt more but you managed to make it enjoyable when you get angry you are too funny
I think the worst issue with the show is just the rapid back and forth character “development” Ally and Riya will be dealing with problems and then seemingly fix them in between episodes only to go back to their old ways by the end of the episode and rinse and repeat. They go for shocking over logical. I’m excited for the finale but more for season 4 as I think this season has been brutally butchered. (The best alternative would be if we could get an alternate 2nd half of the season lmaooo)
If riya wins im so done with all stars.First off all nobody wants her to win, second if they want her to win is for the the she won but sacrificed everybody she cared about which people will hate her to win even more with the hotel episode bc of someone, she an a actress shes already rich ☠️, people will love her downfall and as i always say she will learn that AcTiOnS HaVe CoNsEqUeNcEs
They're intentionally trying to make the season as piss as possible just so people can get angry over it. Like, there's literally no other way to explain this absolute ass writing over the last several episodes, as in they just wanna get this season done and over with it like "who gives a shit?"
This final 3 is pretty bad icl BUT if it’s a Riya and Ally final 2 then it’s the worst thing ever - at least I can somewhat root for Jake? But definitely not the other two at this point
DCAS episode 18 gets worse every single time I watch it…BUT on the bright side next episode is the Motel episode. Motel = Eliminated contestants. Eliminated Contestants = Gabby and Ellie. And Gabby and Ellie = Gabiellie. So that’s gonna be fun.
With the loser motel being next, it is a little weird that are getting some “Pomderosa”-eqsue right before the finale. Either the that episode is more backdoor pilots for the spin-offs, which ask why the show tends to retroactively, as you can describe certain portions of remake for this season, modify or even retcon one season for another or even a spin off. Otherwise, the loser motel may not be so much about the eliminated campers but a subplot lore dump on the production. If isn’t neither, the only other explanation I can see is that something at the motel affects the finale. Either, there is some challenge at the loser motel that can either help or harm each finalist, like who get what helper(s) specifically. Otherwise, though highly doubtful as Jared doesn’t like to keep his shut about anything to not spoil crap too ahead of time, the loser motel is about to get treated like EoE (which would reflect and parody a little too well with how EoE becoming an eye rolling twist in the 2 seasons Survivor used it)
So, all we have left is the motel episode and the two part finale, right? If so, then I hope that at least the motel episode will be enjoyable. Can't wait to see some actually good characters again. As long as James & Aiden don't hog the screentime it should be okay, right? Right?
One of my issues is that none of these people scream “All Star” to me. I wouldn’t say any one of the three have made a big historical move or play that would make them an All Star finalist. Granted I haven’t finished the second season yet. But it really feels like there was no plan on who would be the final three. Also the character derailments are just atrocious, Jake fans are in the trenches rn. It’s hard to find any character likable which plummets interest in the show. I feel like finalists should be likable or at least believable, but none of them seem worthy to the grand prize- no real motivation and there are plenty of other characters like Ellie and Gwen from TDI who have a believable goal and motivation for the million. Mariam already won and I’d assume she’d pass some of that to Jake, and Riya is already famous. The only one I can kinda see is Ally, to prove herself to her haters?? But that could easily be fixed in a character arc, which I don’t think they executed well at all. Someone really needs to study why All Star season suck so much.
Riya was shown having curious look when hair tie fell so its indicator she saw it. I like that Jake actually in this hating Ally thing was being strategic but its sad it was shown as just holding grudges and being emotional as Jake is emotional player.. I agree with everything else
OH?? Dang ty for pointing that out I didn’t even notice. Thinking about it more after this video it’s definitely his best strategic option, but as you say, it isn’t formatted that way so it lessens the point
As someone who actually loves this episode and overall just episodes 15-18 and considers them the best part of the season im suprised to say you were spitting facts. Im just hugely and i mean hugely biased for these episodes since they literally went exacly how i wanted them to go. The final three is literally consisted of top 5 favourite charackters for me so im really biased for this final and i honestly just love all the arcs these three had but i can see why someone would dislike it i mean my least fav dc charackters are literally alec and tom one of the most universally loved characakters so yeah. Its just sad that everyone hates ally and riya for being annoying and inconsistent leading to no one appreciating their arcs, like sure allys arc had me raise me eyebrows a bit but ep18 honestly just made up for it and made her my winner pick and riya is just such a genius of a charackter and this comes from a writer myself like her complexity is crazy and she could literally be a charackter for a much deeper and complex show and its sad how no one sees it, like her being inconsistent is literally the point of her charackter like she maintains her evil act and slips through the fassade only rarely in extreme moments like connor saving her life, her never seeing connor so disappointed at her and her literalky breaking his ankle so yeah, justice for riya though i do see why many people find her u likeable i think shes recieving too much hate imo.
I keep going No this is the worst episode no this is the worst episode no this is the worst episode Hard to choose but anyway we at least got the motel episode coming and according to some early reviews we might be saved from the darkness
I was really trying to be nice to the show cause I didn't think episodes 14-17 were as bad as people said( I actually liked 14 and 17, 15 and 16 were mediocre to me) but this episode is genuine hot garbage, like it's tied with S2 Ep.9 for the worst episode in this series(well maybe that's a bit too far but it's up there). Connor's elimination is just terrible and completely unsatisfying, all the talk he gave that he was going to beat Riya now just means absolutely nothing and meaningless, and his whole plot essentially this season is being abused and hurt by Riya in every possible way with no win of his own, and in turn that makes Grett's and Alec's elimination a lot worse for me. Jake being used as plot device to eliminate someone else because he was jealous after Ashley's elimination and becoming friends with Aiden is just insufferable and is the reason why I'm mixed on him so much. I hated it when it happened to Tom back in season 1, and it's somehow done even worse here. Ally, while kinda sweet with Connor this episode, doesn't change the fact that she's just an inconsistent garbage this season that the writers make her do whatever they want to when it's convenient for them. She's the blandest character in S2, and yet I like her more there than this. I'm gonna be upset if she wins but at the same time I don't really care. Riya is also inconsistent this episode, the scene last episode where it shows that she feels bad for acting evil but does it for the cameras(which is a great scene imo, should've been done earlier) is thrown out the window when she starts gloating and insulting Connor for absolutely no reason when there could've been no cameras around(we saw that all the way back in episode 2). Saddest thing is she is probably the most rootable of the final 3, as she's the most deserving one based on her game perfomance and the most consistent one, but at the same time I still don't really care. Crystal was fine, but nothing noteworthy. The Trevek plotline was definitely forced but at the same time I don't mind it too much, I'm just neutral on it. Overall godawful episode and I hate it, I actually had something nice to say about each character last episode(yeah even Ally, even tho it was ruined thanks to this episode but whatever) but everyone here decreases in quality(even my boy Connor got the treatment when I thought he was awesome for most of the season, why did they have to make him leave like that😢?) and I don't have any real positives to say(except the Connor-Ally scene, which again was kinda sweet). Also is it just me or is the animation is more glitchier this time around? See how stuff on the mannequins just keeps disappearing and reappearing again?
You know what also it’s stupid both Jake and Connor had a chance to zap riya before she broke the remote. Connor and Jake were the worst in this episode
You know which final four is better than Connor, Riya, Jake and Ally? Freaking Lightbulb, Knife, Suitcase and Baseball from II S2. >.> Lightbulb, Knife, Suitcase and Baseball have way better final 4 chemistry than Connor, Riya, Jake and Ally.
It's so stupid because why would you eliminate Grett to make Connor stay when literally one episode later he quits?? It was the most STUPID thing POSSIBLE. Grett deserved to win, THE BIGGEST ROBBERY of the entire season
worst season. TRUE ENDING: Alec, Grett, Fiore all make it in time to get rid of the final 3 and take 1/3 of the cash each. Fiore gets out of her school, Alec finds a job, and Grett buys whatever she wants! (She'll probably share the cash with Gabby)
Alec and Fiore should work together to steal the money as none of these finalists deserve it or need it

I’d be cheering for them the entire time too- tbh it’d be an interesting hosting duo, would love to see it!
Considering how much I liked Ally and Connor in this episode I expected it to hurt more but you managed to make it enjoyable when you get angry you are too funny
LOLLL ty!! Happy you enjoyed the video & something from this ep cuz I sure didn’t-
I think the worst issue with the show is just the rapid back and forth character “development” Ally and Riya will be dealing with problems and then seemingly fix them in between episodes only to go back to their old ways by the end of the episode and rinse and repeat. They go for shocking over logical. I’m excited for the finale but more for season 4 as I think this season has been brutally butchered. (The best alternative would be if we could get an alternate 2nd half of the season lmaooo)
Imagine if the entire final eight was all of the Cyan team except Aiden, Ashley, and Alec and Grett.
Wouldn’t you already be done with all-stars…because it’s over?
I am so sick of Riya by this point...she already got a lot of exposure in the previous season, why is she in the finals again?
If Alley Wins Then I'm Gonna Riot.
THE FACT THE BACK STAGE PLOT IS MORE INTERESTING THEN THE ACTUAL SHOW RIGHT NOW
Remember Connor said it isn’t about who wants to win it’s about who wants it the most
The mic volume fumbling is enough for me to sympathize with your rage.
Have Ellie steal the money at this point...
They're intentionally trying to make the season as piss as possible just so people can get angry over it. Like, there's literally no other way to explain this absolute ass writing over the last several episodes, as in they just wanna get this season done and over with it like "who gives a shit?"
Love how shes screaming then quietlly i think its been like a month in the show then back to screaming lol
This episode made me feel weird around the second half but i did like the other episodes
This final 3 is pretty bad icl BUT if it’s a Riya and Ally final 2 then it’s the worst thing ever - at least I can somewhat root for Jake? But definitely not the other two at this point
7:05 JOJO HAVE YOU LEARNT NOTHING?!
Why is it that this series has good ideas but badly executes them a good chunk of times
Otherwise, though highly doubtful as Jared doesn’t like to keep his shut about anything to not spoil crap too ahead of time, the loser motel is about to get treated like EoE (which would reflect and parody a little too well with how EoE becoming an eye rolling twist in the 2 seasons Survivor used it)
Even is riya wins this seasons still shit theres literally no happy ending for me
So, all we have left is the motel episode and the two part finale, right? If so, then I hope that at least the motel episode will be enjoyable. Can't wait to see some actually good characters again. As long as James & Aiden don't hog the screentime it should be okay, right? Right?
Episode 18 didn’t feel that bad to me atleast not as bad as episode 14
The only Possibly GOOD part of the episode is the ending before The credits
Trevek is canon, so this ep gets a 10/10!✨ /hj
Every episode that Jake derail
S1E6
S1E11
S3E2
S3E6
S3E18
I only remember this one
I keep going
No this is the worst episode no this is the worst episode no this is the worst episode
Hard to choose but anyway we at least got the motel episode coming and according to some early reviews we might be saved from the darkness
The motel episode is… GOOD?? Is that truly a possibility rn-
I just want season 4 to happen already 😢
I wasn’t too fond of the tenth episode but it did have its merits.
Michael ran this show into the ground
YOU MEANT, WORST SEASON YET
I don't understand it. Just what are the writers doing?! They just better turn it around at the finals.
Personally, even if the episodes suck I will still watch the episodes anyways.
Ngl Conner should’ve been 6th or 5th
Miriam should win again honestly
No way i rather watch tiktok dancing animated characters than dcas 15 and onward
Dcas episodes are got worse and worse it should not have gone to weekly it should if stayed 2 weeks
I don't understand why y'all are blaming the terrible episodes on them being weekly.
@@Sallyshome-et1nk because they are being rushed
@riley7975 nah, I don't really think so but ok
Ellie should take the money...
Steal it with gabby and run off ngl
You know which final four is better than Connor, Riya, Jake and Ally? Freaking Lightbulb, Knife, Suitcase and Baseball from II S2. >.>
Lightbulb, Knife, Suitcase and Baseball have way better final 4 chemistry than Connor, Riya, Jake and Ally.
Thank you for showing a 10x better F4, at least I can enjoy II S2 :)
You're welcome and same. x3
It's so stupid because why would you eliminate Grett to make Connor stay when literally one episode later he quits?? It was the most STUPID thing POSSIBLE. Grett deserved to win, THE BIGGEST ROBBERY of the entire season
ep 17 was the worst for me cause the cameras scenes and everythinf overall
worst season. TRUE ENDING: Alec, Grett, Fiore all make it in time to get rid of the final 3 and take 1/3 of the cash each. Fiore gets out of her school, Alec finds a job, and Grett buys whatever she wants! (She'll probably share the cash with Gabby)
The best ending! Thank you for showing a much better conclusion
Am I the only one who loves this episode?
That’s awesome for you!! :D At least someone can enjoy it!
Probably yeah
No, I liked it too
Yea, i take Riya winning over Jake. I'm sorry, dude, just to annoying
This episode was really bad
7:04 This episode sucked they should've kept the OG boot
What was the OG boot order?
@@alexa_disventurecamp idk but all I know is Tess and Ashley were suppose to be in finale
idk i like this episode
i like ally
best*
May I ask why you think this is a good episode? :D
@@alexa_disventurecamp i just like how the characters played and everything felt in character also do i need a reason to like it
You don’t I was just curious lol
