In today's video I bring you a quick mission guide for the act 4 story mission countermeasures for operation deadbolt. This one asks us investigate the anomaly and then escape the rift similar to out last act 4 mission but its at a new location. A new exfil point will be available this is a dark aether portal you can activate to go into this new season 2 story mission. This one has us helping terminus outcome as they look to discover the new anomaly and taking on the largest infested stronghold yet. Tried this today. The mimic up and despawned before dying (~10% health left). That was that mission couldn't progress...
did you know that is actually better to run any infested strongholds without any gas mask, as you are invincible as long as you have PHD Flopper perk ????
Very strange, mine shows Escape The Rift as completed but Investigate the Anomaly as not. WTFook?
tbh i did this twice got something called a drum both runs and on my 2nd run i gotta key for that demon bike thing im pretty sure this mission could be farmed for some decent gear too

I’ve done this 3 times. Grabbed the gloves, mirror, target and the drum.. but fletcher never jumps in the freaking portal!!! And never completes.
If I just need the boxing gloves, do I still need to do the main mission again, in order to get an exfil point? Is there no other exfil point on the map?
What is answer? I couldn't find the extraction top of map. Do need to do mission to extract?

Had the same thing happen, completed Bad signal 4 times and it never said I completed investigate anomaly

There's a bug where the beginning mimic despawns and the mission doesn't go through.. :(
For some reason for me when i get in the dark aether it doesnt complete the investigate the anomaly step but when i exit it completes that so i have the mission half completed

I've done the "Countermeasures" mission twice now, it never completes! I don't get it. I've seen the new cutscene twice now... Anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Edit: managed to get this done, they must have silently fixed it when Season 3 Reloaded came out.
It could be a bug that started recently. I think a few people have mentioned this but I can say a new bug for the containment level is now happening so maybe they did an update and messed it up.
@@ErrlShatter yep, had my 3rd attempt at the mission last night. Saw the end cutscene but still no completion, and lost containment levels too! Guess I'll just wait until they fix it...

Did the solo mission up until the very end that last boss is impossible to kill solo? He regens his health and you can barely damage him

@@ErrlShatter I was using pap 2 weapon, Tried again using pap3 still hard but got him. Also had pap 1 ray gun that put in some serious work. I think pap 3 ray gun would melt him.
It might be the weapons you used. You can't just use any gun build. If you are not using META in MWZ it's harder.

It was a solid mission I think the area feels easier too because of the area of the map its on instead of al bagra
I went in earlier. I didn’t check out too much. I’m stuck getting my fucking sword 😂. Had to go to multiplayer. Like how am I gonna kill 10 special zombies crouching with melee 😂. Fuck all that.
I did it solo without a guide and almost failed due to finding all the spores in the damn mall but lucky got it.. I melted the last boss in 10 seconds literally if that but has maxed out BP-90
Same I used the raph with mags if holding thought, it made it super easy

Did your portal even spawn in lol? It could be a bug but I havent seen it enough yet to know
Sorry for late response. Yes the portal spawned but Fletcher wouldn't go in it, it was because he was glitched behind the bots and couldn't walk through, but after colliding with him a few times past them it worked.
