    "Not a bad way to spend $10,000". (In the voice of Vin Diesel) Wow that is a piece of art and while not $10,000 I'm sure it was was around $2,000. I would have to build a case that was lighted and with mirrors to show off those high end parts. Great build with amazing parts, thanks for the tips along the way. I hope VP makes some parts for the Yeti XL soon, I'd love to build one.

    A wench on the front would look coo!? Or maybe a jack or fire extinguisher to go with your cooling system.
    Love the roof, the graphics are awesome.
    It just looks like class rig, well done Rich.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Garszy Yeah, as much as I used to be into the scale accessories, and want to try include them on this build, I'm not sold on many of the items that don't serve a huge purpose. The U4RC rules have certain things that are required like the driver figure, but the rest, I'm not sure about. I have a whole box of scale accessories and may add a couple though

      Lue is good people. I went to his shop a few times. Probably was there a good 3 hours the first time, drank some Bud Light (way before Bud Light went down in flames) and talked about everything. I think he moved to Fresno (from Huntington Beach) and went completely off of social.

    Hey Rich have you tried the new Turnigy Graphene batteries ?
    Read a few reviews and they seem to be the next big thing !!! Over 900 cycles with minimal changes to the batterie's IR and they have a high C discharge rate also.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +RC Marty I haven't tried the Graphene batteries yet. I'm about to order a couple, but I don't have huge hopes. I've seen that they have the Pro series and the standard series with a 65c discharge rate as the highest. I've tested 110c discharge batteries....

    • @RCMarty
      @RCMarty 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The RCNetwork The C rating isn't all that impressive, some other manufacturers have comparable ( or at least they say so ) cause nowadays high C rating sells, BUT, in the independant testings I've read, they did perform way better than current lipo batteries...

    looks like a great build,but your forgetting something. on all my builds I use the lowest gearing, such as 43/13 ring and pinions a big spur gear and a small pinion gear, to get the most torque from my motor.. if I want more wheel speed I go to a higher kv motor.and it always runs cool. but what im getting at is I break a lot of plastic rod ends,or I use to until I started using the rc4wd ss metal rod ends,. now my suspension is bullit proof. just my 2 cents, and I hope it helps someone..

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +jb3161 Torque wise, I should be fine with the 2500kv Pro4HD motor from Tekin on 4s.....I agree on the plastic rod ends.....but those RC4WD ends are so expensive! lol Like that should matter at this point!

      Thanks... One other question I had. How do you like those shocks now that you've had a chance to use them? I am building a truck very similar to the spawnzilla and having a hard time deciding on shocks. Thinking either the prolines or traxxas big bores. Oh... and do you happen to still know the part number of those PL shocks? are they for the slash front or rear?
