You don't necessarily have to bring water to a rolling boil, the pasturization method only requires 170°f or so. Your bag can also be used in the sun to UV treat your water.
If your carrying the tin, you should have a knife (prefer a SAK Farmer personally, legal most places) and a lighter. Small multitool like a PS4 can be useful as well.
I bought the survival kit back when it came in the tin with logo and placed it in the MPC (sourced from your source) and included a whistle, folding lockpick set, handcuff key, Leatherman Squirt PS4, P38 can opener, and Photon light. I also have components of your E&E kit in a SPIE with some personal inclusions and exclusions. I don't think general preparedness, however, necessitates most Americans within America distributing secret E&E gear. I have the shoelace cuff key on many of my shoelaces and a duct taped razor under my insoles, Fresnel lens in my wallet with 2 BandAids and cash too hard to get to to make spending inefficient, plus EDC which is actually minimal. My favorite "survival" items are a phone charger and credit card! I do practice and rehearse all this good stuff. OnPoint Tactical provided me with some great experiences. I'd like to go to the Self-Reliance school as well..
I have thought about vacuum packing a Space Blanket, but i don't have a vacuum packer, not a terrible idea for a product... Maybe a Space Blanket with some thing like a couple wetfire's and a few Matches with Striker in a compact vacuum package.... i have thought about having some thing to quickly get a fire going, with my Space Blanket, in case of immediate hypothermia, so i don't have to look through my MSK, and all so having a material like wetfire that provides good burn time and heat output on its own.
999ths there's a pretty sweet Multicam pouch at Hardcase Survival that the MPC fits in well with an extra slip pocket and a few elastic loops. The other slip pocket holds my OD/silver emergency blanket.
When are you guys gonna have the tourniquet holders back in stock?

I have a couple water disinfection tabs in my SPIE kit, just in case I need to rehydrate after being ILLEGALLY DETAINED.
