    The girl in the boat never said she felt as if less time had passed that really had. She knew for a fact that more time had actually gone by because she checked her watch. The scientist who is trying to say it’s all due to perception is ignoring the facts to make his theory work - that’s not science.

    Anyone else wondering why the sound editor did such a poor job? At some points Shatner is positively impossible to hear because of the soundtrack. And, there are no subtitles.

    • @sallyride3599
      @sallyride3599 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can get subtitles. Click on the tv that says CC in the center, at the bottom menu on the video. *Edit* Sorry, not on this one. My bad. Many of the others in the series have them, though. I'm pretty sure when the music gets too loud and drowns out the interviewer a/k/a William Shatner, I can still read things. I agree...poor editing and audio.

      Right after a quick lightening storm I heard a humming sound outside a window and I saw this clear sphere around four inches diameter. It went right through the glass pane and into the house. As it passed through the window it made a squeaking sound. It continued making a humming noise while inside the house. It had multi tinted colors within it. The only witnesses were me and my dog. It seemed as though it was attracted to me and my dog because it traveled towards us. It traveled slowly. Then it popped and I felt electricity. My dog cried she was so scared. For months my dog would look over at the window but would not go near it. Every time I told the story to people they would not believe me. Some years later I learned about ball lightening.

      I lived in the San Luis valley in Colorado, There was an air force base on the other side of the mountains and they would fly fighter jets over the mountains and dive and break the sound barrier. Many broken windows and, for me skinned knees. I would be on a run or just walking into town and hear a god awful whooshing and roaring sound then explosion. I hit the ground every time. I never saw any balls of light or exploding sheds as well. Nor dead chickens or holes in the ground. Luckily the locals asked for the state to put a stop to this over the valley. Some guys still did it but it did help a bit. And I remember back in the late 80's when the Concorde first started doing flights here in resort towns in Colorado... Nothing like being out in a field trying to catch a goofy horse and you ALMOST get the lead rope and halter on and some jerk breaks the sound barrier a mile above your head..

      1969 we were on the back steps listening to the radio and they would tell us if the Concorde was flying over us and wait for the Big Bang - I was 8yrs old.
      I’ve also experienced one of those big lightening hits - I have storms but this lightening come from nowhere. The kids were screaming as our house lit up like daylight. I couldn’t hear them screaming. We lost our hearing for about 10 mins and just see this white flash in our eyes. All the neighbors came out front ( we had a good size front yard so it was light a meeting place lol. Ppl were crying some had pads and pens and when they were writing they were shaking. A ambo friend came up to see if everyone was fine and checked all our ears and eyes. Then we had people 500metres away walking up. They heard the big boom and saw the flash up our way. Our next door neighbors weren’t home and I thought their trees got hit. So we went through my backyard and looked over 3 o their big trees were down and one smokin.
      What scared me the most was not being able to see for about 7-10 seconds & of course not hearing. After about 10mins we could just start hearing again slightly. I couldn’t sleep that night because if I closed my eyes I kept seeing white. Then my ears where ringing for a little while. All the kids slept with us that night. I was checking their ears and eyes when I had the chance. Veryyyyyyy scary and it was just ONE and we had no rain or anything like that around us. So I’d say it was one of those positive ions in the clouds. I’ve never seen or heard lightening like that again and don’t want to.
      Like that kid I honestly thought we were being bombed.

    The dude saw ball lightening! Also called St. Elmo's Fire. It's extremely rare and he was extremely privileged to have seen it. Laura Ingels-Wilder describes it in one of her books, as well. How it floated around the room and then disappeared into a sewing needle. The conditions have to be just right for it to occur but it has been replicated in controlled conditions. It's a dream of mine to see it. And no, there's nothing supernatural or extraterrestrial about it. It's just a stable independent static charge.
    Edit: If I would have waited to post this comment, I would have known they mentioned ball lightening...oops.😅

      I was stationed in the Army in South Arizona. I was with my husband. We were sitting out in the desert one night and watching the heat lightning shows that it's famous for when we both witnessed a bolt of lightning hitting in front of us that I thought it was ball and chain lightning I had heard of. Balls of white light started appearing down the stream maybe 5 or 6 and then the lightning sat there pulsating for about 5 seconds and then dissapeared! This was back in 1982 and I haven't ever seen anything like it since.

    I woke up one night as an adult, and sat up in bed looking out my bedroom window. Suddenly there was a burning ball headed towards my house, not high in the air, and turning around the corner of a tree in my yard. When it got within around 50' from my house, it disappeared? I just thought it was a meteor and I could look for it tomorrow. I looked the next day, and found nothing. lol

    Here's my thoughts, when the booms from the Concord happened, it sent a message to the alien thing underground. Which sent the lighting up out of the ground to space. The small ball stopped to check the boy out, deemed him no threat & left. Then the men in black show up. Aliens 👽 have been here from the beginning. I mean, why did 3 Aliens 👽 show up?
