  • Part 7 - Tatum, New Mexico to Brownfield…..Lubbock, Texas
    A VLOG documentary of my cross country bicycle tour of the United States in the spring of 2023. I will mostly be following the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) Southern Tier Bicycle Route from west to east I am leaving on March 12 from Corona CA and joining the official Southern Tier Bicycle Route in Blythe CA. I am then going off route and taking a northern route through Texas from Los Cruses, New Mexico to visit family and will rejoin the Southern Tier bicycle route in Austin Texas and plan to arrive in St Augustine on April 23rd.

    Wow! I’m retired from the Lubbock PD. I would not have worked anywhere else! There are typical problems there but the citizens are very supportive and we tried to earn their trust. Hope we did. Anyway stumbled on your videos and enjoying them. Take care!

      Thanks Bryan, I enjoyed Lubbock and the people I came across. I’m a retired Firefighter and have many Cop friends. I love the job but retirement is a good thing, no? 😁 I hope your enjoying it

      Yes! Been retired since 13. Started riding in 14 but can’t do those long rides, old injuries. 25-50 and I’m good. Take care brother! And thanks for your service!
