TOP THINGS TO DO IN MOSSEL BAY, SOUTH AFRICA || Pinnacle point

- In today's video we show you the top things to do in Mossel Bay, South Africa and a little bit of Pinnacle Point Golf Course which was voted not only South Africa's number 1 golf course but Africa's number 1 golf course.
We also visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum which is situated on the site of the first meeting between European explorers and the Khoi, and overlooks the Indian Ocean in Mossel Bay. . The museum is home to five National Monuments .
A major attraction at the museum is the Post Tree. In 1500 a Portuguese commander left a letter in an old shoe under a Milkwood tree. The letter was then picked up by a sailor in 1501 who was en-route to India. The tree became known as the Post Office Tree, and would be used by a number of sailors to 'post' their letters.

The story behind the Post Office Tree is so cool! Your accommodations looked really nice...I can't believe the weather turned so windy and cold. My husband would agree with you, he grills in any weather! That golf course is beautiful. I don't play golf but the views are gorgeous, even with the little insects and aggressive swallows!
The Bartolomeu Dias museum is so cool! Love the replica of the caravel - I bet it would be cool to be able to actually walk on it in non-COVID times. I loved your place on the golf course! The first night looked a bit chilly, but at least you had that awesome outdoor fireplace! Thank goodness you had a nicer day the next day!

That Bartholomew Diaz ship replica was awesome. So cool that they actually sailed it on the same voyage, but bummer that you couldn't get on it.
